  4. My grandad, who i was very close to before he passed away was a massive robin fan, as far as he was concerned they were his best friends. When ever im working on my own somewhere, logging, or doing whatever... theres always a robin close by sat casting an eye over me. Often wonder if its me grandad keeping an eye on me

  7. Was sat around the bonfire this lunchtime when a robin joined me which in turn reminded me of this story. Must be due on the tv soon John, do you know a date?

  9. A friend of a friend had a smaller calliber round he found. He decided to secure it in a vice and hit the firing pin, it fired, bounced around the shed and lodged its self in his jaw! Nasty, but then if he was dumb enough to do it, probably deserved it lol
  10. Climbing here, my fingers and toes are the only things that suffer really. No snow here but was -4 this morning, meant to be colder tomorrow.
  11. Grew up in a caravan, 12years altogether, basic and cold. But makes you apreciate things. Its a roof over your head though, which is all that matters really. Infact im looking for a patch of land to buy, and live on at the moment

  13. I was getting my balls sucked by a Sainsbury's checkout girl last night. Unfortunately she started to gag when she swallowed a pube! She didn't find it at all amusing that instead of assisting her I just said "unexpected item in the bagging area."!!!
  14. Had similar problem in my vito and it turned out to be injector. Just something else to consider maybe.

  16. Im 19 and climb because its a job. Not really enjoying it like i use to... but sticking with it until i either get the "spark" back, or something better comes along.
  17. 4strokes are different to 2strokes whn it comes to "running in" IMO I ride a 4stroke motocross bike and would never run it flat out fresh from a rebuild, nor do i run it flat out from cold.
  18. Same! Alot of bikers i know run there 2stroke motocross bikes in the same way, ride it like you stole it!!
  19. You'll be lucky mate lol Ive got about 15t of oak but want to process and sell it myself unless the price is right. But tbh i wouldnt know what the right price would be lol
  20. Had a visit from our ford transit freinds this morning looking for scrap. So expecting a return visit one night soon. Lock your tools up guys, and keep a bat by the door.
  21. Cold and wet. Had abit of snow fall but just melted. Going to be icy icy roads in the morning thats for sure.

  24. Its just as bad!! Did my first plane the other day and i wondered what people were complaining about as it was going fine. Then i managed to breath in abit and i was coughing me guts up whilst up the tree, was horrible!
  25. Tractor and trailers are much easier to reverse than when you got a narrow chipped behind your van that you cant see! lol But if weight is not an issue, and money isnt an issue then get the scielsling.
