  1. Glad your having a good trip Paul all the best for Christmas and the New Year. That is a very nice Staircase very grand designs.
  2. I tend to wear under armour and a few thin layers also have a stein top that's not too bad. The key is thin layers and remove one if you get to hot you do not want to sweat or you will get cold.
  3. Just about to say the same as cleerview that is exactly what I do.
  4. We keep some cones in ours and a builders bag + some push sticks. Bad news about the lid.
  5. Well Ian I think just taking the time to save an old tree like that and to try and keep it with us for years to come is good enough. Well done for putting in the effort and not just removing it. Nice job:thumbup:
  6. Words of wisdom there Paul it is always best to get things looked at rather than putting it off. But like most of us me included things get left or brushed to one side. My wife says I have white coat syndrome will never go near the doctors even when I need to.
  7. I have a Greenmech arborist 130 very impressed with it, the letter box opening saves a lot of snedding up.
  8. Nice one Paul that looks like a good view from your new Pad. Hope you settle in well. Look forward to your continuing story of life.
  9. That's a very true statement Mark, We get calls all the time we have cut our tree down and have no way of getting rid of the waste, I will not put other peoples rubbish through my chipper.

  14. Looks a nice job Paul glad all is well with you and the story continues. The Lakes looks like a part of the world I need to visit will put it on my bucket list. It must be nice to travel round and work with different people in new parts of the country, then to be able to go home and chill with your family.
  15. We are booked until January at the moment, Normal is 6 weeks. We do lose a lot of work because some people want the job doing next week when they ring up. My on-going Customers are happy to wait as are 60% of new customers. We find the people with no Patience are not worth having any way some of the trees have been there a very long time 6 weeks wont make much difference.
  16. Good news a club I can join for free 50 in April this year. Bit of back pain and find it hard to put my socks on in the morning.
  17. That is so cool brings back child hood memories always watched Top Cat.
  18. We use SBK Stump killer always had good results with it.
  19. As We fix it said the heads must be cleaned out properly this is the key and a bit of copper grease on the threads when putting them in I used to put new bolts every other blade change. For what they cost it is worth it, my machine had the Allen key heads and they do round very easy.
  20. Nice vid as normal Reg, you do make tree work look so easy. That did look like a good sized tree.
  21. I Have just paid £239 for a full service including blade change on my arborist 130
  22. 38 is not very old I am still Climbing at 50 as said it is more of a fitness thing and you can soon build stamina levels up.
  23. Glad to hear your feeling better Paul. Sounds like a good few days with Hodge and a beer Hair cut is needed.
