  3. Good on you James bit warmer this year than some others. Tradition is good we always go for a Chinese meal on new years day far more relaxing.

  11. It is the councils tree on the green across from my house. The tree has nothing to do with me, it was just a photo for people who do not get the chance to see a root plate very often.
  12. Yes it would have broken a few cars if it had gone the other way and blocked the road. Its the Councils tree they will have the wood. I think that is the problem Rob it has been waterlogged a lot of times in the 13 years I have lived here.
  13. Just a few pictures of a fallen Birch tree. Tree went over early hours this morning. Just trying to show people how little holds some trees up The tree was about 40 feet tall and was in full leaf in the summer, it has been standing in water for most of this year and looks as if the roots have rotted.
  14. I have to agree with Andy,s view of the class system but with a few extra added in. From what I remember you have lower middle class, Middle class and upper middle class which breaks up the jobs people do a bit more

    We mow round it or if lots refuse to mow the lawn. You will find most people will clear up the mess.
  16. That is one very proud looking Grand dad. Very pleased how the last 3 months has worked out for you Bring on 2013 Just spent the last 3 hrs at the hospital and dentist with my 5 year old a little lad ran in to her and bust her teeth so bad she has had to have the front 2 taken out tonight. Has put them under her pillow that will cost me some gold coins.

  18. We dont pay for chip but a mixed load costs £20 per tonne

  20. I run my 350 on the standard Husqvarna 15" Bar and chain I would not go to a 20", The saw has not enough power.
  21. There was a good turn out at Market Bosworth Leicestershire, always is mind you.
  22. That puts the sheer size of that tree in to perspective great job James. I see what Dave means about your hand at 14,20 sent shivers down my spine. I know what you mean about letting it run they had a lot of tree to slow things down in .
