  1. I tend to do 60 - 70 hrs a week but try to have Sundays off with the wife and kids. That includes quoting and paperwork.

Cool Beans well done soooooooo Jealous.
  8. Thanks Spud that's what I was thinking will stick with the normal Unleaded. Used a gallon of 2 stroke mix in the last 2 days so it never sits around for long. Thanks for your help
  9. Hi I think the problems they are talking about are the ones garden kit is talking about Quote (These problems manifest themselves as solids and gels which form in the petrol by chemical oxidation as the fuel ages. The solvents also cause problems with the rubber and plastic components.) I personally have had no problems because my fuel will only be 2 weeks old at most. I have five cans and fill them every 10 days. I do not really want to switch to aspen because of the cost. I was just wondering if it would make a difference to the running of the machines as they suggest it will.
  10. Morning Spud Just a quick question to see what your view is on this. The dealers that do work on my saws, hedge cutters and mowers have said I should run all of my kit on Super unleaded not just normal unleaded. Something to do with the additives in normal unleaded are causing problems with carbs. This is not just 2 stroke machines but 4 stroke also with the mowers what are your thoughts on this and will the carbs need adjusting. Many Thanks Nick
  11. That looks very painful, hope it heals up quickly Take care.
  12. Very nice will have to have one
  13. Merry Christmas Steve no rush, the Kids must come first. Hope she heals quickly
  14. I try and work on £25 per man per Hr so for a 7hr day that would be £525 + Waste disposal and any equipment hire charges so for that job around £1300 should cover it
  15. Pay my debts off have a holiday bit of new kit and a few grand in the bank. With no debts I would not have to work as hard and could spend extra time with my family. But I bet what would happen is I would work harder and the wife would spend more money.
  16. Nice work looks very good, bet you are so glad to be doing some felling now. Shame it is still Conifers.
  17. Wire core or steel core Lanyards/flip line are for take downs when you are cutting close to your tie in point. Normal rope Lanyards are for work positioning in general
  18. Not too bad then, I do like jobs with scenery not the best time of year summer is much better. All my clothes had to be washed as soon as we finished the last burnt job we did.
  19. I have done some burnt conifers before not nice at all took ages to clean all the kit up after woods. Hope you got drinks after all that hard work to wash the soot away

  22. Now that's what you call a load, Nice job providing a service to the village letting all that light in. Just as well you have the room to fell them, that would be a lot of extra work to dismantle.
