    This is just theory at the moment, but............ Would you be interested in a timber drying service, for the princely sum of £100. We would supply a 26m3 hook loader for you to take away and fill up with split logs or billets, and bring back. We will dry said logs to 20% in 2-4 days depending on loads of variables. You pick up the dry logs and empty the hook loader. What do you reckon, given the shortage of dry sellable timber, and a number of very wet winters. this service will be based in Lawrenny.     Your friends at PCNPA have tried end grain flooring, and generally had a mare. Changing moisture kept the blocks moving, and generally misbehaving..

    Mine took about an hour to convert, and cost about £130. You will need a spider/riddler, the plate that the riddler sits in, and replacement fire bricks that you break trying to take out. Also check to see which type of chimney liner you have.
