    I used to get my parts from Hancocks in birmingham mail order . Now I use a local mower maintenance shop . They stock all oil filters and air filters which fit the kohler engine . Although these are not genuine kohler parts . My chipper had a new engine 5 or more years ago and has been on none genuine parts since and runs great . Always use a decent oil though . Get my blades from Saturn Knives .

    My little TW 18 / 125 has an 18hp Kohler triad engine and was made in 2000 . It does not have the engine cover . Its on its second engine .
