Theres good and bad in all . This Teacher is in the minority and if he knew my son from the first year I'm sure things would of been different . He would of understood the importance of the charity band to my son . Having said that the guy does come across all high and mighty with an attitude of I'm better than you . My son was angry and upset about this matter . Although as I have said to him many times before everyone sees things differently . Speak your mind people .

Thats your opinion . Don't go blaming parents for the state of the country as thats another issue . My son has got a grip on reality and that Charity band means a lot to him and his family . Dont you be disrespectful of such a deserving cause . you desrve it .

Its calmed down now . Allowed the charity bands and is happy to let the girls wear minimal make up and jewelery . Still no hair dye allowed and no trainer type shoes . I think the impressive turn out of parents has influenced his decision in relaxing the rules . Most of the parents attending do in some form or other help the school out in fundraising events , Free use of local woodland . Charity days .Christmas events and so on .

Well its New Head Teachers second day and he's gone and got 60 pupils who weren't wearing the correct uniform and put them in isolation . So now more pupils have lost 2hrs of study time . Please note that these are minor rule breaks ie no school badges sewn on blazer , No dyed hair , Sensible footwear which is being debated a present because the new Head is going OTT . Parents are invited this evening to discuss these matters. Now even the long serving teachers are not happy . Zero tolerance come on man there's better ways to start the new term .

Still think its harsh on a 15 year old whom has many relatives that have served and many that still do . Its a big part of his family back ground . To top it off he's not a trouble maker and does well at school . But this has given him a different take on things . I've told him stand your ground come what may . I'll back him . Its good to express yourself .

I can understand that Dave . What people are saying is what they feel . I felt like punching him although I would'nt . This teacher is setting a bad example . In my opinion he needs a reality check . I,ll be having words with him away from the busy bodies .

He did Huck and the answer given was quite poor really . The school doesn't encourage the wearing of bands be it charity or otherwise . No Jewelery Policy .

Well first day back at School for my eldest 15 . The new head teacher told him to remove his charity wrist band which he bought with his own money . The wrist band is the helping hero's charity . My son declined and was made to write a report on the Olympics thus missing double history . What is happening to this Country , red tape , everybody being sued , being politically correct . Makes my blood boil Oh had a rubbish day on the connies

I used to get 8 out of every 10 jobs I priced . Dont be that busy fool . Now I get at few less jobs but they are better priced
