  1. You'd only need a Ropewrench and a tether mate, you'd be looking at about a oner all in. Works fine on 13mm, that's what I started with, ascent only that take off the wrench and switch to ddrt at the top. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  2. Wouldn't it be simpler just to use an SRT system? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  3. Don't be so hasty. Find whoever told you it was worth £1500 and tell him he can have it for £750. You either make really good cash for it, or he admits he's a bullshitter of the highest order. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  5. Your post was spot on mate. I totally misread it and thought the 'vile display' bit was aimed at the old cizzer guzzler himself! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  6. I've met Jon and he's a smashing bloke, and I used to enjoy his input on here. Then he went a bit crazy and was literally posting on every thread, all the time. It was ruining Arbtalk. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. Same. Grinder doesn't leave the lockup for less than a oner. That's if I didn't know them, mind. Which is sometimes a blessing. The way I normally do 'mates rates' is trading days at £100, or nothing, but the £100 makes us all feel better! Only works with mates who have skills you can utilise! 8. I think you're being a bit harsh on him there mate. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  9. So would I James. It's not my job either. [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  10. I'm in the fortunate position of being able to refuse jobs like that now. I've done similar in the past, and the regrowth doesn't look great either. Fair play though Steve, great variety on this thread. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  11. I'd always look for the fell as the first option, but TM aside punching a shattered stub through a service would spoil the party a bit. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. Good groundy. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  13. Yes it's really difficult....[emoji39] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  15. AKU's and Salewa mtn mid gtx. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  16. They will have 'I still think I was right' (in Arabic) on their gravestone. Over their (decapitated) body.
  17. When are trees getting CE approval? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  18. It will be bloody Ovaltine shortly at this rate! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  20. I've just realised if you were born the year that was released you'd be 29 now. I need a drink. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  21. Good save I reckon. Like the tarp on the gravel PC. #bladesaver Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  22. About 4.20 alright? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  23. I think the promo pic showing the SJ3's true size possibly affected sales. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  24. As above. Not ad infinitum though. The tops will have started rotting out already.
