  1. Musto tweed jacket, flat cap, trackies, dusty black slip on shoes. Special rates for pensioners. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  3. Your reduction beside it turned out nice Jake, so sensitive. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  4. Hi Jake, I can sort chip out no problem, logs will be a bit more tricky. No phone signal here at work, I'll give you a bell tonight.
  5. I've bought one of them as well, a shavette, recommended on a thread on here. I haven't dared use it yet, like. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  11. No, they would still be .454kg. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. I totally appreciate your sentiment Matt, but I will never post my security measures on an Internet forum. They do involve multiple levels though. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  15. How do you know trees don't have feelings? They all hate being climbed on a Monday. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  16. True, but any near 6 ft lbs air pistol is a good option for rats caught in a live trap, which is what Commando was on about. Drowning them has never sat right with me. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  17. Beat me to my post Andy! Where will the steel go in that shot? Cobra would obviously be useless in the co-doms lower down. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  18. I think also people see drilling as massively invasive (but are happy to leave 6" dia 'pruning' cuts). Most of the steel bracing I've removed years after it was installed the tree seems to have compartmentalised and callused pretty well. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  19. I've only ever cut them out Jake. As you say, surely a better solution in certain situations. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  20. [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  21. She is Russ Abbots daughter. The press don't mention that much. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  22. Can you get some pics up when you do it Matty? Very rare to see bracing installation pics on here. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  23. There is that. Surely Big Don will sort that out pretty sharply though....
  24. My apologies. I saw 'Britbucks' and assumed Jomoco had posted that!

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
