  1. Have a look at the Crown and Horns at East Ilsley, just a couple of miles up the A34 off the M4. They do rooms for decent rates in a converted stable block in the pub courtyard, and do a good steak. Proper olde pub as well. Haven't been there for a while, like. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  3. That's exactly the way I see it. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  4. Sweet sauce Jesse, some reach there. My goodness that youth music was a bit sweary! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  5. That's the page I'm on Don. Also when I've asked a few people who've had bother about setting the saw up initially as per the manual it's pretty obvious they've used it to wipe their arses with rather than reading it. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  7. You never let me down lads! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  8. Starting a hot Husky is very much like making love to a beautiful woman. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  9. True dat Mark. When I was younger Ive turned up that hanging I would have actually been more productive if I'd got my mam to call in, and that's as team leader. Now Im over 30 things have changed. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  10. Your relatives can't burn it legally mate, even if it was fresh timber, which fence panels clearly aren't. Feel your pain, like. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  11. 'Personal reasons' is probably because 'diarrhoea' is so hard to spell. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. 150 or 2511 Newton. Talk to me. I had no problem high clipping a 150 back onto a large gate-free caritool using the same hook that the strop is choked to. Not as good as the 540 like, you can't beat that system. When I say I had no problem I mean I could do it ok but it's not as good. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  13. I find it really strange Marc. These guys were all about pioneering. I remember my first rope guide and the difference it made, and I owe them a lot of thanks for that. Then Kevin designed the RW and SRT happened, and is still happening. I thank Kevin even more for that, kept me climbing. I don't understand why pioneers are deliberately trying to hold a system back? Bullshit safety concerns have been addressed re TIPs etc. by those of us who have used SRT for access at least for several years now, without dying very often. I know some of you guys stalk the site now and then, so it would be great to get a genuine honest answer about your anti-SRT stance. Is it all about the money? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  14. Weather looks to have perked up since the weekend mate! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  15. Even that's getting harder Steve. The one I tried tonight was blocked with conny brash. Some people are so inconsiderate. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  16. Good recovery. You have actually been using it the wrong way round haven't you? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  17. Same here Mick, not seen that before. Nice effect Alex, keep them coming. The question in the previous comment meant are the remaining sticks staying like that to sprout or will they be taken down?
  18. To be fair, that's what it feels like I've been doing these days. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  22. Ouch! Heal quick mate. Fraser Island? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  23. I did think that, but professionals always check! For a mate? Saturday afternoon homer after the main job. No charge apart from a few cold ones in the fridge. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  24. Can we all get on the same page here? I think we all agree the fell to a low stump is pretty simple. The work is in the grind (and chasing surface root) and clean up. I wouldn't do a grind free for my wife. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  25. Marc, I hate the fact you're faster at typing than me. [emoji39] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
