  1. Rich Rule has used both mate, I've only used the non-CE which is superb with a VT and RW. Rich reckons the CE version is very bouncy, which isn't great for SRT as you can imagine. I'd go for the non CE stuff from Nod at Treeworker.
  2. Talk about complicating a job. Get a tracked grinder in (preferably operated by someone who won't bend you over), get them ground out, pay them. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  3. You're setting the standard there Rhys. I'll get some pics up of my old girl when I've got the sides back on. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  4. Hopefully beautiful houses like the ones in the background. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  5. Enjoyed it on YouTube (won't play on iPhone as usual). Aye, big crew. Were they down the cafe? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  6. Like rot, included mesh fencing, and the customer thinking it's worth £5k? [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. That looks a very well thought-out arb back Rhys. Probably cost more than my house, like. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  8. Shiraz Andy. I like it rough, remember? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  9. Sorry, kid got up then. John Kirkland is a bit old school, but their workshop isn't. They had a brand spanking 18t DAF in this morning to fab a tarmac back for Stoke council, and I just missed a 3.5t ali arb back going out when I rocked up off the train this morning. I'm happy to answer any questions about them. 07958 508524. Not tonight, like. Chinese has just arrived and there's a bottle of red with my name on it. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  10. They don't as such mate, they are pretty old school. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  11. Britt Tip are good, they had done the back on my last Transit, and it lasted far better than the overcomplicated one from Hampshire that Kirklands replaced. I've got no connection with them, just like to recommend good work and service. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. It's not. Rise above it mate. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  13. Libel mate, not slander. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  14. Just had a new steel back on my Transit from Kirkland Commercials in Stoke if that's not too far for you. They do ali as well. Fantastic to deal with, so much so I came up from Kent to do business with them. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  15. Green Plant are about 30 miles away at Guildford. Orange Plant at Burgess Hill are nearer, but not sure if they do TW any more? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  16. It should be more worrying that most of the doctors are. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  17. You're a confident guy Jake, it's all in the mind! [emoji23][emoji51] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  18. I don't know Jake. I've strapped a few trees up in high winds and come back to them later, I'm pretty sure they would have shat themselves without the straps. They looked like the elephant man, like. Proper ratchet straps, not Halfords luggage ones. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  19. To be honest I'm kind of done risking my neck for people who have pretty much put themselves in this position. I might still climb it, like, because I'm greedy and the MEWP cash would keep my wife in shoes for a month. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  20. As the lads have said really, you were there, we weren't. Your call in the end, and if they're happy to pay for a MEWP jobs a good 'un. From the pics I'd probably have climbed it, but rigging it would be a bigger concern. Let us know how you go. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  21. You need to run from customers like this, not walk. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  22. I hated working for you anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  23. I can only see it being better than the 125, which has no grumbles with any of your concerns above, apart from maybe super-wet conny, but even that's ok if you feed it sensibly.
  24. I think we're getting in too deep here (and the MC is always going to be a big guess). The answer is, yes Ty, a 20T 360 will handle that stick easily. Id be more worried about getting out of the way of the butt when you fell it up that bank!
