  1. Morning all, putting some of our guys through their chipper course and was just wandering...... Lantra or Nptc? we have a local company who can put them through the lantra one at a good price, or do you think I should stick to Nptc????

  8. Not sure yet, its on a private estate, so down to the landowner. but may pose a threat to the main road at the front. Did I id the right fungus? and what would the options be? reduction? mono?, dont want to recomend removal, as it is an awsome tree.

  12. It was a bit of a rectum twinger to be honest, left the pegs on the main stem for the traniees to practice lowering off. The trusty old ms200 was not much use that day

  19. I know what you mean, i was a bit surprised to see the NA on there to be honest. But i have been in the industry for 8 or so years now so I think a combo of the 2 should count for something.
  20. yeah good point, weve got a shipping container, inside the units, on a farm, with guys living onsite, that are always about most nights shooting things. That works pretty well!
  21. old shipping containers seem to work quite well, can be fitted with extra alarms as well!
  22. so where does my NA in Arb fit in then? what would I have to do to become AA approved or affilated??? What course would I have to get onto next?

  24. firewood is the way forward, a couple of plumbers who live near me have spent the last 3yrs just fitting woodburners into peoples houses, I sell loads of logs in my village and surrounding area, luckly for us it is a free waste product of our job, just need somewhere to store and process it. It wont make you a millionaire, but its a start!
