  1. Not if they use it to tip the table in their favour Its a particularly short sighted idea given that it encourages developers to remove all trees because they feel they cant trust a council employee to be reasonable. Despite the odd few that you may manage to slip an order onto the tactic probably leads to a net loss in trees.
  2. The point was the non existent standard fine. The unlimited had been satisfactorily addressed
  3. I didn't say the word should be changed to tariff the point was that there isn't a standard fine, it's what ever the beak decides it is, up to the maximum. I used the word tariff because that is what the legal world uses despite whatever other definitions you might want to trawl up.
  4. There is no standard fine, there is a tariff, of which 20k is the maximum. It's up to sentencing what sum the fine lands at.
  5. There are no covenants in TPO legislation, you might want to look up the difference between an are a order and a woodland order though.
  6. Tameside.gov.uk has had thier stuff on line for a an age Shame other authorities hereabouts aren't as enlightened but then they want you to ask so they can make a sneaky order if they see fit.

  12. Groundsman needed in Wigan Wed Thurs this week Call Andy 07973 560 633 (no texts)
  13. Nothing at all if its done properly
  14. That's a shame, no time to give the little **** a bit of therapy:laugh1:
  15. The borers auger is designed to lift material out, I suspect a re design might be needed. As soon as it stops making forward progress it will want to lift material out so a short "flight length" on a long shaft would be better. Oh and your borer only goes one way so it wont wind the "anchor" out. Make them sacrificial or make provision to extract it.
  16. How hard has it been worked? GC are the kings of subbing work out, and you wouldn't put your tatty truck on a stand would you?
  17. That's going to need a really big saw
  18. Is that what they mean when they describe wine as full bodied? I'll get my coat:laugh1:
  19. I would take the rad to my local rad repairers and get them to re core it
  20. I have been in the Bolton depot on a Saturday morning, the customers were several deep at the counter the poor bugger was on his own and the phone rang and rang without getting answered.
  21. A couple of weeks ago Steve was looking for a bit of feedback on this. I couldn't see how it could be significantly improved, then they added the chance to win a load of kit...genius. I hope anyone using the site will considder a making a donation for the chance of getting your kit back. That amount of work isn't cheap.
  22. Only if you have shat in them, the other load is insignificant
  23. Why do you think it has to lift or lower? Its anything the supports a load.
  24. Here is the low down on this topic Yes you can do your own but in the event of an accident your procedures will come under some serious scrutiny.
