  1. Norfolk sounds cool...i need to get out of the Big Smoke for the day...
  2. Really cool. i like it when you descend into the hollow trunk and emerge into the light... Great soundtrack.
  3. It,s a shame about East Durham Arb College...i went there in 1995 to do my National certificate in Arboriculture and Blue Book. it was a hive of activity...it was mainly young Farmers Girls on Horses and Trainee Arborists.it was a Different world then...there were people climbing the large trees in the Beech woodland or on the Spiking Pole. Groups of people mingling about the Arboretum studying for the weekly Tree idents..Tractor assault courses...Tirfor and Rigging displays...it was a hive of Arboricultural activity. Now i am sorry to say,it is a shadow of it,s former self...i visited it 2 years ago to find my old Mentor Dave Bently. he was in the Arb department(a single broom cupboard type room) and that was it....What a shame.

  10. No one makes vids quite like you Reg...theres always something very reassuring about the way you explain things...As Always...great stuff. Second fell was quality. that technique is used a lot in German Forestry,"Dogtooth cut"...realesing the tree by the angled cut through the "Hold"...Brilliant.
  11. if you follow the trajectory....it,s aimed at City Hall.
  12. Really like your work...the Yew bench was my screensaver for a while...you allow the grain to Speak for itself. A great tribute to the trees they once were...keep posting! like your Style...

  15. I used the same weaver for over ten years and the buckle fastening is Bombproof...Extremely robust harness.(made by the Amish folk)...but been using an Austria 2 (Grey and Red) for a year now and have had no problems...only occasionaly have to tighten the leg loops.
