  1. ..........or reading this thread, the vat and tax man are not daft they know more than you think you are better to stay on the correct side of them.
  2. That would be excellent matt. G415 AVS is what is on the saw but the part number is 2851-55121 it a plastic worm drive for the oil pump, im sure a few will be the same. If you find one pm me and i will sort you out with some cash for postage and a beer:thumbup1:
  3. red stihl 2 stroke ( on the saws that wont run aspen) and stihl chain oil. Ive used old engine oil years ago forestry felling seemed the norm back then, but i never liked it as it was manky on the gear and you ,so i went on vegy oil from the supermarket but i had it freeze a few of times in the saw so went on proper chain oil, but i do like the stihl oil. But i see from above post clarks do an oregon one i may try that next to see what its like.
  4. just dont buy a pick up there as the doors will all fall off
  5. you should be ashamed of yourself with a joke like that  How long did it take for you to think that one up mark ?

  7. Inspirational dave, i cant comprehend the challenge and hardship you are facing but your attitude is incredible!! i am sure wherever you end up it will be YOUR choice and no one elses. Thanks for taking the time to post. I wish you all the best for the future mate.

  9. What kind of concrete fence? can you not remove the part of the concrete and place in a small lintel above the root this would support the section above and take the presure off the wall then leave enough room for future growth, repair the cracks with a couple off steel plates at either side bolted through you could then possible build a couple of pillars ( or concrete in steel posts ) to stop the wall falling over. Lift and relay the patio at a higher level. Or walk away
  10. Can he not say its his private garden? You dont need them for that. A bit of a long shot i know
  11. i had a look at them at the apf they seemed heavy, reminded me of the efco range.
  12. the guy i just seen getting out the pod look like he had just stepped out the house not been trapped in a mine for 69 days!!!! must be some feeling getting up top after the wait.
  13. ive had ldvs in the past and they are ok but they do rust quite bad they seem to only have one coat of paint from the factory, i have an old smillie faced transit and i cant fault it, it just goes and goes i look after it mind you but its more preemtive maintenance than fixing it when it breaks. At £1900 ANYTHING you get will have been well used, the glasgow council ones you speak of my mate just got one an 02 crew cab for £2200 low miles but is quite rough looking but mechanicly sound. good luck with the search.
