  9. that breakfast is brilliant!!! thats about the same amount a bear would eat before it sleeps all winter...
  10. Did you not phone the parents of her mate to really see if she was camping out?? if my kids are going anywhere i check then double check who they are with and go round and meet the parents of the kid they have befriended, i would rather be a dad like that than one putting my kid in the ground when she is found in a ditch. it a hard choice but i would give her hell as she has broken the trust you bestowed upon her and i would let her realise that if she wants to be an adult then she has to act like one and be resposible. The teenage years are in the post for me so i may change my views:lol: oh and micks response was funny. EDIT, just read your post plippy its worked out fine then.

  16. Thats mental
  17. i watched the demo it jammed a couple of times as they were too slow to switch to the second bag, it may have been the timber they were using as it just ended up with a half bag of 3 inch logs and the rest pine brash and i cant see many people paying for that. it was very fast though and im sure if you were putting copice poles through you would fill some amount of bags in a day. this was on arbtalk a while ago have a search through the forum.
  18. Did anyone win it or has the raffle not been drawn yet?
  19. Thanks ian and the rest of the replies Is there a few that compete at 40+ ? And if i decide to try who do i speak to about entering a comp? Thanks Robert
  20. Does the circuit have different brackets for ages? When i used to compete in martial arts there were different age brackets i.e Adult 18 -35 Masters 35 -40 seniors 40 -44 seniors 1 44 -50 etc etc. i quite fancy a bit of pole climbing but not against a 22 year old racing snake who by the time i finish he is back down and got the kettle on for a cup of tea If you do have it does it encourage older men/women to get involved or do you think it would if it DID exist?
  21. yep i done mine 9 year ago and keep certified through CEU every 3 year. i like it, keeps me motivated to learn and some clients like the fact you are a certified arborist and some dont care:biggrin: Also welcome to the forum mate
  22. Yep i agree £15 for the second day was poor. Mind you i won a pair of ear defenders at the stihl stall with my ticket number although i would have preferred the 660 prize, they said youve win and started blowing whistles i thought it was the saw, i was nearly jumping about then they handed me the ear muffs i was well dissapointed
