  1. lol, don't think i have not suggested it, i just got a "look" all the married men will know it, so i backed up from that conversation or i would be making my own dinner for ages. yeah sorry Yve_Clark i was gonna pm you to tell you.
  2. You must have a "man shed" where you can go and hit things with a hammer
  3. i was looking forward to going then got reminded it is my wifes birthday i was still planning on going in the afternoon but its a no goer.....
  4. they look good tom where do they sit in the film as an emerger? i find the cdc works well tied as either breather filaments on a buzzer or upright wing on a parachute. ive not wet a line this year i will need to get along and cast to a rise.
  5. Be polite and honest if the interviewer screws his face up at any answers jump up, flip the table rip your shirt off and scream " i will tear this place down on top of you" i never done great at interviews, i dont know why Only a joke DO NOT DO THAT unless you film it for us all to see:001_smile: As said mate be on time, polite and be yourself also be confident but not arrogant, its important to make them feel you are the man for the job so be enthusiastic about trees and customers needs, because without the customers THEY dont have a job. good luck.
  6. Dont mind at all, my father was a extremely violent alcoholic so that slightly tainted my view of drink from an early age, i then went to work as a bouncer in my late teens to my mid twenties and seeing the state of some people and the trouble it causes was unreal, so it never appealed to me, but im not anti-drink people should do what ever makes them happy and releases the tension as long as they are not hurting anyone. hope that answers it
  7. lol, fair enough but i like being hot n sweaty, you cant like having a hangover?, but if its similar to sex pass me the red wine
  8. seems a poor wage, but im sure someone will be glad of it if they are unemployed, got to be better than losing your house etc.
  9. i have never drunk in my life so have never had a hangover but it has always amazed me why you would put yourself through such torture when i see the condition of my mates, makes me laugh
  10. that mog and crane look brilliant nice job Rich
  11. cheers guys a few mixed responses there, thats what good about this forum you genuinely get great advice. ive had a HAV,s test done and im ok but i was gonna try them anyway ( probably go for the timberlands) you are spot on bob about maintaining the gear the blower is an old hand held stihl so i will replace that soon. cheers
  12. does anyone use them and if so what makes do you prefer, thinking of getting a pair for hedge cutting and using the blower.

  17. i think it would be quite unfair to not let anyone in for being unfit at the interview stage, i would say let them go away lose a couple of pounds get some upper body strength and try again you will soon know if they have the right attitude, if they come back improved you have a keeper, someone with determination to succeed.
  18. very true i have turned down more than the odd one or two but i would not cast the first stone.
  19. My kids, they inspire me to be the best dad i can cause if i fail at that what was the point of anything else, its the only job i take serious.
  20. i do judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and during circuit training we throw the gi jacket over the pull up bars and grip it for pull ups, really works your grip, we also stop in different positions (mid pull) to work isometric strength as well.
  21. went the other night it was quite poor, the terminators are large transformer types and john conner is doing a feeble impression of Batman...ohh no wait thats just the actor, special effects were not special and the plot was as you would expect, but the nachos were brilliant as well as were the revels. arnie is computer generated in it
  22. had a cabstar it was very reliable but when it did break it cost you especially if it was dealer part as nissan charged like a wounded rhino, also worked for local authority for a wee bit a few years ago we had a canter it was very good to drive but the tipper was terrible, it was a scissor type tipper and was to close to the back of the truck would not tip more than a ton, i dont know if it was who built the body or if thats normal with canters.
  23. Some of these land rovers look proper good, ive had a couple of series 2 and 3s but nothing in tipper form, what will the 110 and 130 carry tonnage wise? and what size of chip box can you get on the back. cheers
  24. fantastic, thats the coolest video ive seen in ages
  25. you would get a £1 easy for that......
