  5. ive felt a slight reduction in work load but it has certainly hit the construction sector i have a lot of friends who are out of work and most of the large house building sites close to me are closed, i was amazed though when i done my xmas shopping at the weekend the shops were mobbed !!! so it cant be that bad.
  6. If they can you better get to the doctor, no amount of cream will cure you !!
  7. freeze them, cut them up and chip them in the river:001_smile:
  8. "i could sleep for a week on broken glass and eat half a chip shop" "did someone set your face on fire and put it out with a hammer" After being told you are putting on weight the reply.. " thats cause everytime i f*** your wife she makes me a sandwich"
  9. I can see them holding out on a grinder as they know its going to make money by doing its job.... Cars are different as there are lots and lots of them and everyone that is for sale has a minimum price tag that it will go for even if the seller makes a loss, always take the cash with you and tell them that someone gets this bundle of notes today ( have it in £10 notes as even a grand looks like a fortune!!) tell them the price you will pay and then walk away if they dont. Good luck and be ruthless its the only way to buy.
  10. Id stay clear of the Dti vectra has a real bad rep for headgaskets going, my mate has a garage and every other week he has one in to fix with as low as 50 k on the clock !! i got a petrol vectra for the wife cant fault it gets 45+ mpg. £3k will get you alot of car know i would be looking at them priced at £3500 - £4000 and offering £3K its a buyers market and if they say no move on to the next seller
  11. Just curious if anyone can spell out the pros and cons of becoming a limited company. Thanks
  12. Looks good, Ross Enamait has been doing this stuff for years, all the bodyweight exercises are great for functional strength. check out Ross site. http://rosstraining.com/ His blog makes for interesting reading too.
  13. The experience i found with them was they seemed to "drag out" the treatment to another visit, then another to get more money from you ( im not saying they are all like that just the ones i went to) and i never seemed to recover very quick, after doing quite a bit of studying of anatomy, i find now if i get injured i understand what is wrong and can start a recovery program straight away, but in all honesty prevention is better than the cure, i try and keep my body strong, supple and well hydrated and im sure this aids recovery and reduces the injuries i receive, also if i am injured i rest and recover as i would rather be healthy than have money, it amazes me that people struggle on when they know there is a problem the same folk would not dream of driving the pick up with the oil light flashing!!! they would immediately stop, park it up and get it fixed. Your body is the most valuable machine you posses look after it.
  14. Everyone takes different times to heal but try and rest it(even a day), also pack it with ice ( the miracle cure) depends how you handle it but i usually apply the ice for 15 min on and 15 min off not straight on your skin place the ice in a damp cloth, this will take away a lot of the inflammation, once the initial pain goes away start to stretch it, stretch until you hit the pain then ease off try stretch all areas and try to get full range of motion back, this will minimize the scar tissue and reduces the percentage of a recurring problem. ive had hundreds of injuries (combat competition) and always repair them myself, doctors don't care they prescribe you drugs and i dont trust physios. wish you a speedy recovery.
  15. Anyone got a link to a site or contact details i need some as well? thanks
  16. Not about hidden costs but... Good on you mate, work hard and leave a good job, the difference in ordinary and extraordinary is that tiny little bit extra!! you sound very positive pal, best of luck to you.

    bad news

Terrible news, condolences to his family and friends. Its so sad when you hear of someone so young who is making a positive contribution to himself and society and they get taken away, when there are some that need to go never even get a cold, life just seems unfair sometimes R.I.P
