  6. i watch sponge bob in the morning with my three kids while eating breakfast, go to work with a smile on my face, very rarely watch the news its always depressing.
  7. i got up this morning half an hour before i went to bed
  8. effects are brilliant and has some well funny bits in it, took my three last wed and will no doubt go again next week
  9. Larch is good for strainers and at 8-12" is the right size convert to 8feet peel them with a spade point them and sell at £7 each you will get a few from a stick. just a thought as we use to use them all the time never even bothered to treat them as they last ages in the ground untreated.
  10. It looks quite similar to a unit i had years ago that was made by Dalrimple (sp) they now trade as arbour eater, it was very good infact it was better and faster than a 5 inch jenson i got, you had to make sure the blades were sharp and sharpened at the right angle as they pulled the timber in, mine could demolish a 10foot long 5" diameter conifer head quicker than roller feed, but limits were poor on dead timber and tougher hardwood, but fantastic on 5" conifer, willow, lime etc, etc. seems cheap though go and see it if you are close enough hope that helps.
  11. cheers mate i will put a bid later on the rigging one, i am needing some ceu,s.
  12. Looks a great device and as always the videos master class.
  13. Very cool units mate, how come American wagons always look so much cooler than ours, i have also always wondered why no one uses bucket trucks over here.
  14. i think if you decide to give in, you will go under and these individuals will blame the industry, losing contracts, cheap prices, credit crunch etc but the fact is THEY decided to give in, as has been said there is work there you just have to look for it and want it, if you feel depressed regarding the current climate you will project that image in your demeanor to a prospective client without even knowing it, and that can be very off putting. i once read if you duplicated the same desire, energy, never give in attitude that you used to have your first sexual experience you would succeed in EVERYTHING you tried:laugh1:
  15. Never dates.....fantastic Nick cave and the bad seeds "The Mercy Seat" [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFdUTM4gU-o]YouTube - Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds "Mercy Seat"[/ame]
  16. thats awesome!!! i love stuff like that, you could get from one job to next pretty quick in that...
  17. what is that made of dean, fibreglass? looks brand new
  18. get a job in tescos etc and set up a tree company part time and as swb says write down some goals and date them (the dating them are very important) the tesco job will take away the pressure of finding money to pay the bills and you can work away part time at achieving your goals, plenty ways to make money mate and i am sure you can turn your hand to landscaping/fencing as well, dont worry what others think regarding what you drive/work as, cause its you that is responsible for keeping your head above water, or go and sign on till you decide what direction you are going. good luck in whatever you decide mate
  19. LOL the sarcasm in that post was priceless
  20. i have just started using one coming straight off a blake and micro pulley, what technique are you using for advancing, body thrust, arm over arm, others? i see the advantages and intend to stick with it but find it a bit awkward to advance some times,on long ascents the sling between the hitch and harness is awesome though:001_cool:
  21. i find tesco just as cheap as i dont ever need 50 cans of soup at once!! some good bargains in costco but you can end up spending more than you need.
  22. Honda on the chipper, mixer, wacker, a few niggles but nothing really Kohler on the stumpy keeps wrecking starters so honda for me everytime.
  23. that sounds very strange,i think he has been having an affair with one of his co workers wifes and his mate forgot to clip him in then went "oh your hand are too slippy i cant hold you, bye,i mean oh no!!"
  24. nice one mate, well done
  25. I agree there you cant beat a wild brownie, although i have been known to cast a line at an Aquatic slug in a pond occasionally
