  1. My new Land Rover. xtremelandy_fri_kov%20(17).jpg I know you may need to look hard but most of it is Land Rover parts, chassis, 4.6 engine, auto box, Ashcroft force 9 axles which are mainly Land Rover.
  2. We are just about to purchase a Greenmech quadchip so if your interested in an old TW150 let me know, its in daily use and will be ASDA price.
  3. Just doing two of my lads and the cheapest I can get is £560. Who does it for £300?.
  4. The LumberMate sawmills by Norwood - Simple, reliable, accurate with a 2 year warranty but without a hefty price tag Had mine from here, I guess you realy want 2nd hand but they do PX so might have one. They do hold their value very well, the first one I had was with me for four years and I very nearly got my money back. The older ones have a bit more metal in them than the new models.
  5. I think you are confused about who has the liability here, it is a health and safety issue, not apples falling over the boundary fence and you also appear to pre-suppose the neighbour has the finances to rectify the situation?.
  6. Thats a pain but perfectly logical.
  7. If you passed your B+E and then at a later date took your HGV, would then automatically get C+E or would it mean another test. I have a lad who drives a transit and I need him to tow above 750kgs, I plan to put him through his HGV but not just yet.
  8. You mean like this little gem, Arbor eater wood chipper | eBay. I had two of these plus an Exenco. They was the business in their day but should be confined to a museum now.
  9. check this out, a 40hp 8" road tow chipper brand new for £4,150 Nixon Forest King Heavy Duty Diesel Powered Self Propelled Wood Chipper | eBay Make sure you like it before you order as once you buy your stuck with it, even though it has 12 month warranty. It weighs 400kg yet its 40hp. Greenmech and Timberwolf are done for.
  10. I once saw three climbers up one tree in Wolves. AAAC working for LA. Must have been a rush job?.
  11. I found one stuck in a puddle once, took me about ten minutes to get him out. ray stuck.jpg
  12. This should have been done at Planning stage and would have formed part of the survey submitted with the application. If you search the planning portal you will probably find its already done.
  13. I really should spend more time on this forum, that's a great link with lots of info. I have been AAAC since 1990 and never knew all that existed.
  14. I never said it was paid for by a job, I said I bought it to do a job. Get a grip lad. I am a multi millionaire so I buy toy's, some I keep because I lose track of what I have. Somewhere in the warehouse is a WW2 spitfire but is does not have 3 point linkage or a tow bar so it can stay there for now. Sent by my Rolex using triptalk
  15. I bought it for a contract that never came off, kept thinking I will use it but it sits under the lean to. We have four tracked machines and therefore do not really need it.
  16. I have the exact same machine as new, blades never been turned £5,000.
  17. I have a 125hp Valtra Valmet reverse drive with 2.5mtr seppi mulcher. Not an ideal option if its only a one day job but if its a few days it may be worth while, transport can be the expensive bit
  18. We had a 60 tonne crane, the driver said the trunk which was approx 3mts long weighed 3 tonnes. My Mog could not lift it and it can pick a transit van with ease. I estimate the tree weighed around 20 tonne all in. The wood was very wet, I did notice some of the upper limbs were weeping after being cut, just like when the sap is rising.
  19. A few pics from yesterday, the Ivy was a pain and must have put an hour on the job. about 30mts.JPG (44.6 KB) bottom of the ivy.JPG (88.3 KB) Andy is there somewhere.JPG (110.4 KB) just right.jpg (63.0 KB) On the rake.JPG (98.7 KB)
  20. When you have a main road closure with a big crane and big trees you need a good climber, cheers Andy spot on mate.
  21. Johnny I lost all my tel no's, call me some time. Bob

  22. See you Sunday.
  23. Sorry I should have made that clear, yes, it is in Wolves.
  24. Crane job this Sunday 18th Nov with road closure. Early start but should be done by 1/2 pm. Obviously need to be experienced working with a crane and have tickets. 01902 892652 Bob
  25. I guess your friend knows he can operate the 4x4 business under the 14/28day rule without planning permission and the LPA will also know this. However, it does not allow him to damage the TPO'd trees which is a seperate issue and I would assume some thing he would want to avoid. In my experience there is often more damage than just roots, roll cages and winch strops strip bark very easily, I cannot think of any woodland we use which does not have trees affected in this way.
