  3. Is there a tow bar on the plough?.
  4. I may be wrong but I thought an employer had to issue a CoE within three months?. It is in both your interests to have one.
  5. Most of the above is fairy tails, if you want facts google 'Field to Farm' then buy the book (£25), read it and away you go. You actually need a minimum of 12.5 acres for it to work, you do not need to own all of it but the book explains this.
  6. Booked it in today:001_smile:.
  7. I have a Werner winch on the front of my Mog which needs servicing, anyone know a dealer?. Winch.jpg
  8. Yes I guess it could.
  9. I have around 40 tonnes of timber to move, does anyone know a timber haulier in the West Midlands or Worcestershire.
  10. If your using it yourself then they are fine, if your letting the lads loose with it then think again. They are ok but need a careful operator, we tend to get through a few drive belts.
  11. Not sure but a rough guess is an artic load and I am open to offers, I don't know what the going rate for cordwood is?. If you can collect off site and I mean off site then you can have it but the site is very wet due to bit of rain we have for the last 9 months.
  12. We will have a large quantity of firewood inc mainly hardwood over the next three weeks. Can deliver locally but prefer collection.
  13. Not sure what the exchange rate is at the moment, US or Australian.
  14. There is approx 15/16 tonne altogether and the majority is Oak. Some is in lengths some is cordwood.
  15. I have one of these but with 084's, you need to man up as it's bloody hard work and a touch noisy. Fumes can be an issue working so close to both power heads. Having said that you can take the whole lot into a back garden and plank some ones tree rather than cut it into firewood. I haven't used mine for 20 years.
  16. Solihull south of Brum not far from J3 m42. We have taken down a couple of Oaks and it would be a sin to cut them for firewood but we are tight on time so if anyone is interested in some Oak, Sycamore, Holly and Hawthorn please contact me either by PM, or email [email protected] or land line 01902 892652. There are a couple of 7.5 tonne truck loads, the Oak is currently still in lengths.
  17. We do a lot of site work, the first thing and quite often the only thing they ask for is CSCS. We do have other work if your interested give me a call, Bob 01902 892652

  21. Pete, you make it sound like they wanted a job when what they realy want is a chipper to compete with the quadchip, not gonna happen any time soon.
  22. Had the pleasure to meet Jasper earlier in the week and bychance I just happened to be wearing my sweatshirt:thumbup:.
  23. The Mastiff is at home with the German Shepards and Springer. Down the yard we have another German Shepard and a Rotweiller, if your slow and steady they are ok, if your loud and boisterous bring a first aid kit. I am sure you will be fine Pete, Andy got out alive.
  24. A van pulled up at our yard today and guy with an irish accent said he was on his way back to Dublin and he had some saws for sale, my ears pricked up and went off to his van to look at the 'stihl' chainsaws. They had 16" bars and he had quite a few, he said you can have them for £250 each, I said they are not stihl (although they did look like them) and he was quite adamant they was, after a few minutes he was offerring them at £100 each. I guess some one will buy them, they did look the part.
  25. Is it for sale
