  1. Could you please take a minuite to look at the photo's http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/stolen-equipment/60521-digger-trailer-theft-pics.html
  2. A mate had his Ivor Williams trailer and Bob Cat digger stolen last week, could you take a look at the pic's below and see if you recognise any of the four lads, if not then keep an eye out as they may be coming to you next. The wood where the machine was stolen from was completely out of the way and not near any sightlines from roads or public footpaths so it goes to prove nothing is safe. The battery had been removed from the digger for security but you will see in the one pic they simply use jump leads to get it going. It would have taken at least half an hour to do this and there is the chance they could be disturbed as there is only one long track to access the wood, this does not detur them so I assume they are 'up for it' and being stopped and challenged is acceptable to them so I would suggest if you do encounter them then proceed with caution. 3. We are just about to have an application refused, the tree is within a beer garden and it has an adverse affect on trade. The application has not been validated as yet, we are in discussion with the LPA. This could be a determining factor if they give consent or not.
  4. Might be, who is Sal. I bought it last week from a guy in Guildford.
  5. The Range Rover in the foreground has a Isuzu 2.8, its a little quicker than a tdi but nowhere near a td5. The Range Rover in the back ground nused to have a 3.5 v8 but now has a 200 tdi, pulls well but is a little noisy 2013-07-11 17.49.53.jpg
  6. Time to clean out the chicken pen, the gate is to narrow for the digger to go through so over the fence it goes. The crane is just about reaching its limit and would not go out any further. Mog with Tachuchi.jpg
  7. 12 weeks is quite a distance between inspections, I would be interested to know how you get on with that. Ours are 6 weeks and I have thought of going for 8.
  8. I think and I might be wrong but, you can use fliters sourced elsewhere and you will still get the 12 month Kubota guarantee on the engine but if you want the three years then you must use Redwood.
  9. In this instance it's not a grey area, you use filters bought from them, that's it.
  10. Ours has done 82 hours now and is fine so far. One thing you may not realise is, you must buy genuine filters from Redwood for your guarantee to last the three years.
  11. I think it will be easier and cheaper to simply swap it, I have a couple of spares in old disco MoT failures that we keep for situations like this.
  12. I know what you mean but I live 40 miles from this site and the pub was shut due to the fire damage. It's all sorted now, we managed to cut back the offending branches in the way of the scaffolding/thatcher under permitted development, we had to wait for the CA notification before we could crown lift the tree which to be fair was only around four weeks. It just doesn't make sense to make two visit's for such minor work, it's good for us because we get paid twice but a waste of money for the client.
  13. It does look a bit that way:confused1:
  14. Well we was going fine until the engine died, I think either a big end or conrod. We had to complete three laps on a 4.5 mile course to qualify for the next round, we had completed two and was 200 metre from the finish line on the third. 9119604558_7aebd150e0_b.jpg 9119773572_950633dfaf_b.jpg 9119778834_fbfa5158ab_b.jpg
  15. A wish is a horse a begger would ride to death.
  16. Off to Kirton at the weekend to compete in a speed event in a truck built for winching so a bit limited for speed. Fitted the rear mud guards tonight so good to go. 4.5 mile course through mud, water, rock, steep climbs, side slopes and what ever else they can think of, as many laps as you like in the time allowed but only best three times count. I know it looks like a heap of junk but it is mechanically sound (I hope). Ready 1.jpg Ready2.jpg
  17. I bet his Mrs is sat there thinking 'friggin plonker, ive told him about that'.
  18. I will have some firewood available tomorrow, Wed 19th June 2013, it's approx a transit load of Sycamore and Goat Willow. It's free if anyone is interested. Bob 01902 892652

  20. Unfortunately we are competing this weekend, I would liked to have gone as I hear it's a good show.
  21. I have a smallish job in Southampton, would anyone on arbtalk be interested. Bob 01902 892652 or PM me for details.
  22. Still have approx 4 tonne left if anyones interested.
  23. It could be the clutch fork has failed, we always weld a washer on the back when fitting a new one to add a bit of strength. Not a big job if it is but best part of a days work and obviously you would change the clutch at the same time. If it is it may limp on like you say but then again..........................it might not!.
  24. I went to pick my Discovery up tonight from the garage and this forward control was sitting in there, had a quick look over it and it looked like an easy restoration
  25. FOC = free of charge. If you want it please call me after toorrow it will ne gone
