  1. 18mm wbp for the sides and headboard, 12mm will be fine for the roof.
  2. Plywood? If so, 3x 8x4 sheets will get you a decent sized box (4x if you want a roof).
  3. A touch awkward.... He did start it though in fairness!
  4. Check the air filter isn’t blocked.
  5. Did you buy your place off him?
  6. Can you not offer him an olive branch and let him run it under your drive? Root damage would be minimal, you would get a resurfaced drive, you might become friends again? Next thing you know it’s keys-in-a-bowl time etc etc.
  7. Brilliant, thanks! I’d still buy one if you ever make another batch by the way!
  8. Oi Bob @aspenarb - any chance of re-uploading the pics of this barrel pump setup please? I can’t open them anymore!!
  9. How much for a regular crate of whatever beer locals drink?
  10. That is expensive, wowsers! In the UK it is pretty normal to get 10% off Ifor Williams list price when buying new. The overall cost of ownership tends to be relatively low for Ifor Williams too - they sell for big money second hand for some reason.
  11. Because Brian James are shit in my experience. But not £2k shitter, so he bought the right trailer! @The dogwalker - are there any locally made equivalents or have the British cornered the market over there? An Ifor dealer over here reckons they sell a lot in Europe as they are cheap compared to what’s available on the continent.
  12. Very pragmatic outlook, good stuff! To be fair to Brian James they will only buy those pumps in, they don’t make them. (I still think you should have bought an Ifor Williams though!). This thread has done nothing to improve my view of Brian James...
  13. On a brand new trailer? What has the dealer got to say about it? Surely they have a new pump mechanism on the shelf, it should only take half an hour to fit. If not, have they got a trailer you can use until it is fixed?
  14. Ace looking ship!
  15. I understand that - it goes a lot further than 50000 employees though as there will be many many more employed in the supply chain. It’s still an incredible number for one manufacturer though imo.
  16. The thing that surprises me the most about this is that Rolls Royce employs 50000 people building aircraft engines!!! How many engines are they building?!
  17. Let us know how you get on once sorted!
  18. Furlough scheme is doing similar, and also deferring mass redundancies imo.
  19. I have the same and it’s the dog’s danglies. It is apparently identical to the 1002 internally (so same power etc), just has the bigger drive. I’d recommend getting one of these over the less torquey alternatives unless you have a specific job where you are going to be using it constantly on light work (where weight may be a consideration).
  20. Speak to the dealer tomorrow. Don’t in any way think that Brian James might be building trailers down to a price. Definitely don’t tell the dealer that you wish you’d done the right thing and bought an Ifor Williams instead....
  21. It won’t be a big issue. I’m surprised they don’t supply them with the manual override though (it adds about £60 to the pump unit).
  22. Try flicking the down button a few times - you should hear clicking (from the solenoid at the bottom of your pic). I reckon that is stuck open for some reason.
  23. Does it have a manual pump facility (pump it up with a jack handle)? Doesn’t appear to from that pic.
  24. I’d imagine it should be closed to operate normally via the remote control, yes.
