  1. Cream first? They are looking at you sideways as you are clearly a ****************whit - how can you possibly keep enough cream on without the pressure of jam-application squashing too much back off the scone? You probably shouldn’t be allowed to handle a knife...
  2. If he’s designed it then go with what he says (cheaper bare root anyway). Not a term I’m familiar with tbh.
  3. Fingers crossed - looks like a decent amount of work to strip/reassemble before knowing for sure!
  4. If you reverse and re-feed does it drag in normally? I’ve had this issue with just about every chipper I’ve used when something small catches behind the rollers.
  5. Don’t think so, they make plenty themselves.
  6. It’s leafy brash they are after, fresh and local. They will collect from site.
  7. Oh yeah, my mistake! How was there enough space within the realms of comedy to support 2 giant puppet-bird based acts, and why oh why has nobody subsequently filled the vacuum they have left?!!
  8. Wasn't that Rod Hull (moonlighted as a satellite dish repair man)?
  9. Hmmm. I think they are useless generally (have always banked with them and threatened to leave on numerous occasions but inertia keeps me there...). The BBL from them was pretty painless though in fairness - took about a week from application to dollars. Might be worth chasing up?
  10. Are the cracks visible in the external brickwork, or just inside in the plaster? I’m struggling to see any in your pic.
  11. Any pics/detail/history of the cracking?
  12. I’ve just had similar - will give the ewe another roll of the dice next time to see but her days are probably numbered...
  13. I really really hope the thieving bastards end up getting pulled into your machine. Sorry to hear this, it’s horrible.
  14. If you insist on using a rope then attach a flying capstan to the winch cable.
  15. Pool balls I heard...
  16. Possibly not what I thought it was then!!!
  17. How are you going to clean that???!!!! Looks a real germ magnet!...
  18. Definitely speak to Rhys at Mcclarron Insurance though - I’ve just gone through a renewal and moved insurers from Lycetts to Trust but Rhys was very competitive.
  19. Plug cap loose hasn’t been mentioned...
  20. I doubt it - they wouldn’t be adjustable if owners are forbidden from tweaking them. As an amateur (and I include myself in that category when it comes to carb adjustment) it is unlikely you will cause lasting damage to a saw within an hour of ‘faffing around’ - most likely issue is you will stop it from running.
  21. I can’t see what he could possibly have done to it to make you think he has invalidated the warranty from your description. I’d still be double/triple checking the fuel mix though personally - it is very unusual to need to alter mix screws on a saw that has been running (particularly a brand new one). If it is a bad fuel mix you will have invalidated the warranty though, and will probably need a new pot and piston...
  22. I know nothing of SSE. It’s often the case that you need the firm you are working for to put you forward for induction (but not sure how SSE work).
  23. Which network? Who are you working for?
