    They are really fragile - transport them carefully (I’ve broken them through general ham-fistedness before now). Their fragility does offer poetic justice though!

    A mate got a cheap 3 phase four-poster and has done away with the electrics and just plugs it into a tractor spool to lift. Works perfectly!

    I wonder if that's the same with the dedicated pole saws? It would make sense a multi system has the motor in the base unit but you'd get greater efficiency according a shaft. That would explain the mistake of the using the pro tools? That’s what I’m getting confused with - I’m sure that the dedicated pole saws have the motor in the head and the base simply holds the batteries.

    I am pretty sure they aren’t compatible - electric kit simply has wires running up the shafts to power motors in the heads. Sorry...

    The blades are certainly very similar/the same - a really odd asymmetrical shape.

    Hey up Ty You should swap it with me for for this - TS 16/35 DT. 3 cylinder Kubota turbo diesel engine, turntable, under 750kg, and French, so getting any issues sorted should be a piece of cake for you over there! It’s got a massive throat/feed roller hole, a really big feed hopper and it chucks nice clean chip out a fair distance too... It is going up for sale shortly (but I reckon it has your name written all over it!!!).

    You need more than a wipe of clotted - get as much on as physically possible. Thin spread of jam then load the cream until gravity steps in is surely the only way (jaw spread is the limiting factor for cream depth)...

    Cream first? They are looking at you sideways as you are clearly a ****************whit - how can you possibly keep enough cream on without the pressure of jam-application squashing too much back off the scone? You probably shouldn’t be allowed to handle a knife...

    If he’s designed it then go with what he says (cheaper bare root anyway). Not a term I’m familiar with tbh.

    Fingers crossed - looks like a decent amount of work to strip/reassemble before knowing for sure!

    If you reverse and re-feed does it drag in normally? I’ve had this issue with just about every chipper I’ve used when something small catches behind the rollers.

    Hmmm. I think they are useless generally (have always banked with them and threatened to leave on numerous occasions but inertia keeps me there...). The BBL from them was pretty painless though in fairness - took about a week from application to dollars. Might be worth chasing up?

    Are the cracks visible in the external brickwork, or just inside in the plaster? I’m struggling to see any in your pic.

    I’ve just had similar - will give the ewe another roll of the dice next time to see but her days are probably numbered...
