  1. I was exactly the same mate. Bread and Crisp were my downfall. Give it a month though and you'll be amazed how much you don't miss it!! I've lost over a stone and a half in less that 2 months without excercising, just cutting out crap food!!
  2. 16 strand rope has most/nearly all its strength in the cover. The core is there to stop the rope flattening and to keep its shape.
  3. I see mate. I've got a little Dmm chalk bag I was going to stuff it into to solve that!
  4. Drew or Old Mill, What is the benifit of having the elastic that goes all the way through the rope? Wouldn't it do the same if it was just attached to the top of the Croll/Basic? Sorry if this is a really obvious one but I've not seen one of these in the flesh. Cheers
  5. Had a few nights on the beer but going to knock that on the head for a while (after Easter!). Being fairly strict, have 5 crackers with mature cheddar as a bit of a treat every now and then. Stayed off bread and criaps which were my main problem! Loving bacon and eggs though and having a lot of fish. You still sticking to it?
  6. My project over the next week or so is to splice one of these up. Ewan has sent me a photo of his system so I'll have a crack! Pictures to follow!
  7. Does the outline not look slightly "phallic"?
  8. You have to be certified for each specific rope I think
  9. Thats brilliant!!! I like that a lot!!
  10. Going back a few pages, If you "can't" buy a top handle saw without showing a ticket, how does anyone ever get qualified? "I'd like to buy a 201 to do my cs39 please" "Sorry" It was needs an element of common sense
  11. adidas Copa Mundial | adidas UK 50 quid last night. Always fancied a pair
  12. This is lovely Roasted Tomato Soup | Paleo Grubs
  13. Look at the dates. Kevin (the guy in the video) is the guy who developed the rope wrench. The F8 system predated the wrench but the principles are the same. It went F8 Wood wrench ZK1 ZK2:001_smile:
  14. Nothing to worry about at all. I always think its better to be able to see the lockstitching to see if there is any movement in the splice. If you're worried about it, put some clear heat shrink over it.
  15. It managed to get caught on all sorts but the splice held and it broke on a straight part, nowhere near the splice
  16. I did mine with a needle. Didn't bother with a locking brummel. I just did a straight bury and it only broke last week with my full weight hanging on it to try to get it unstuck!!
  17. Couple of boiled eggs, salad, few carrots, chopped up grilled meat and a few bits of fruit. Tin of tuna for emergencies
  18. Just had a pizza with the Mrs. Feel rough as almost instantly feeling it in my chest.
  19. Bit of a round trip from Derby!! Thats a cracking picture Marc!! Any more pictures of the others?
  20. Especially when Ian is the big spoon!
