Best bit of advice I'd seen about splicing was on this thread I think. Think it was Hadleigh or Peter that said as long as you've followed all of the instructions, you'll be fine!

Soak your climbing rope in Deep Heat. Then whenever you climb your hands will be toasty warm. Happy to be of service

12mm tenex mate. Elastic is buried in the tenex. I'd made one previously and it was making the Ice tail I had used bunch up as I'd stitched the elastic into the lock stitching. It worked but I didn't like it. Used a bit of Treemotion rubber to coat the elastic. Not used it in anger but should be fine

I got 4 numbers and won £140 once and had a £10 every now and then. I've now been doing it so long that I'm terrified of not doing it!! My mate's mum played the same numbers every week, missed it one week as she would have won £17k.
