  1. If you post it, that only takes 30 minutes out your day then you'll get given loads of other jobs to do. Tell Lizzie that you have to hand it over face to face for security reasons and you might be home by 8pm. Job done. We can sit and eat cakes in the garden
  2. @Joe NewtonGive me a visit if you're popping down!
  3. In all these years I've never watched that one. I'd only seen Day 2. Great video
  4. Probably time for it to come in to see you!
  5. Hi @spudulike, Husky 560 xpg, using it today and the top cover was incredibly hot, felt as hot as the heated handles do when on, had a look up the tree but couldn't see anything. Is this a common one?
  6. How far did you have to travel mate? I'd bill for travel but not full whack
  7. Final established height, rooting depth, potential sail area, susceptibility to pests and disorders, existing planting and light/moisture availablility on site and maintenance cycles once established will give you enough to start with I would say!!
  8. This is my last post on here, you all wear Chainsaw trousers and a helmet on the off chance that you might get bitten by a chainsaw, or a branch might fall from above you. You hope it won't happen but still you wear them, because experience has shown you that its possible. Similar reasons you wear seat-belts, no-one plans on having a car accident. Wearing a mask is no different.
  9. What? Paid medical professionals know more about medicine that a load of tree cutters? Surely not. "And now the Director of the World Health Organisation is going to pass the microphone over to Big Jim Hickory once he puts his chainsaw down, so he can give us his years of medical wisdom" This irony is, you lot jumped on a bloke on here for doing decorating as another part of his job but I never knew you were all medical advisors....
  10. My own fault, I worked with him the other week and took the piss that it wasn't spliced?‍♂️?
  11. Yes mate. Was in a rough old state. Cougar was brand new so was nicer
  12. Used Tachyon and New Cougar
  13. Was that cheaper or more expensive than a standard one?
  14. If you got all that, then from the sounds of it, you don't need the other guy. Draw a line under it and move on
  15. In seriousness though, take individuals and post them up and we can identify them
  16. I agree. They're cheaper for a reason
  17. Pull some bits out, cut some bits off, put some bits back in again, cut a few other bits off, pull it all a bit and then stitch it a bit. Simple as that.
  18. I made a new split tail for the Twinline rope guide. Been meaning to for ages
  19. Yeah. Did a Kernmaster splice, Only did it to prove that I could! I hated splicing Fly and a Stein parallel core monstrosity
  20. In a story which closely mirrors my own, it looks good though even though it's almost completely useless.
  21. Just wanted to see if I could! Will be used to train Wisteria in the biggest overkill possible
