  1. Try adjusting the L screw by between an 1/8 to a 1/4 turn when warm makes acceleration pickup much better Still no 200 tho
  2. What, how, who have you tried so far?
  3. Awesome! When I went to the states, they had over booked the flight too (expecting cancelations/no shows) so we were asked to wait till the next flight in 4hours, and got bumped up to first class
  4. There's a few over here who like to spread the proverbial, and IME of then meeting those "bell ends" not justified

    Dog dilema

Why lie? Stand up for yourself and tell her how well the dogs doing, how much of a fantastic life it's having, the walks, the owners etc tell her you really feel that the dog is far better off in its new life, and your not prepared to give her the dog back, it's only an old woman's pride you'll be hurting. If that fails and you give in give the dog back to her. It's only a dog at the end of the day, and live with the guilt you sent the dog to a long death
  7. This clip came to mind [ame=http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Mz_XMpdLiBk]Come fly with me - Tommy's new job - YouTube[/ame] Good luck Johny, you'll need it
  8. But the extra three years they've had to develop it has made a difference!
  9. Or could the bunk be slightly side tip? Like some tracked chippers
  10. Fantastic pictures mate! I always thought you and your old man just cut grass and done a bit of weeding, not master craftsmen! you're both far too modest about your work
  11. Awesome pic set and loved the music! How'd you decide on the amount to be taken off? Is there any way you can estimate the amount if future decay?
  12. Tree geek, in tims method you don't need to untie, just pull the lowering line through leaving the Crab and sling attached to the branch on the ground. You just need a load of crabs and slings up the tree with you
  13. I've used the log lander Was speaking to a forestry company one lunch who were looking at alstor for a site, not knowing anything I suggested the kranman, they just laughed, they don't have a good reputation for pro useage
  14. I thought it was too heavy for what it is and the noise like nails down a blackboard!
  15. I don't own one but have used all from the 200 series to the 700 series, well except the skid steer range Some will discount the 200 series because on paper or only lifts 350kg whereas the big ones lift over a ton blah blah, it's a cracking little machine, like a gokart to drive grass tyres are crap though, and it does need the counterweights on the back. Feels very simple, as it is! The bigger ones especially the 700 series feel like a well engineered machine, the only let down is the lifting arm is a single arm, set off center, I think this is unique o Avants, my girlfriends lifted too heavy a lift, twisted the lifting arm out of its bearings, but that was probably operator error! You have to be doing something pretty bloody stupid to tip one tbh, An owner operator would prob never tip one Telescopic boom is ace Muck grab is most usefull, log grab rotator is only good for the larger machines as its a hefty lump Avants are easy o operate, electronic joystick for the loader is awesome compared to multiple leavers-you can lift, boom in/out, grab and tilt all with one hand

  17. Real nice job you've done Geoff, nice simple styling too
  18. Haha, I reckon James's is better, can balance the picks, and not limited to the cut diameter.... Big ladder, 66, stand in the main forks and cut away:biggrin:
