  1. Treemon, on your website, you have someone stumpgrinding with just ear defenders . . . should he not be wearing eye protection too?
  2. Really did laugh out loud at that!!!
  3. yes lets advise jose a tracked chipper, its not small like he wants, it needs an aditional trailer, will definatly be over 750kg so that means trailer licence, he works in london so of course bigger, heaver tracked kit will be far more suitable than a TW125 or GM130 Jose, why not ask GM for a demo day?
  4. I guess the original poster wants a smaller chipper for a reason . . . can only comment on GM's round blades and echo ICTrees comments, very good
  5. Modified LP player turns tree rings into piano music, quite cool! Modified Turntable Reads Tree-Rings as Music (Video) : TreeHugger
  6. Great to use your own wood Simon! Chainsaw milled? At a guess does the gate swing out towards the church perhaps . . .
  7. Cant have been plip, You'd have FELT a strange presence and maybe been left with some Ectoplasim scattered around
  8. Shell have their own brand of alkalyte fuel, maybe it would be a better option to petition the fuel companys to supply their own alkalyte fuel in their own filling stations like they do over here, rather than ask one brand to drop their prices
  9. yes, i know its bad, i was just putting myself in their shoes, what they might think, i honestly dont think they see it as criminal damage, a little education at the source might go a long way and far mor practable, cheaper and less intrusive than enforcement officers, cctv ect A simple sign, police force logo'd, big picture of a dog hanging off a branch with ILLEGAL stamped across it at the enterances to parks could go a long way, how else are you going to get the point across?
  10. Plus it doesnt 'go off' or perish rubber, so if you use a machine only a few times a year, the machine wont suffer through lack of use
  11. Do people actually realise that this is wrong though? afterall its just a branch from a tree, plenty more, trees still there. . . i think its only because of us being Arbs we realise this is bad, but joe public will not understand the damage, cost, and unsightlyness of ripped branches, and i doubt people realise its vandalism, criminal damage-its a just a tree, not a window, car ect We are educated in trees, most are not Perhaps Police endorsed signage that damage to trees is unlawfull, and carrys a fine upto 20K per offence-i guess they're tpo'd afterall? might be a good start
  12. Over here its sold in 5L cans at every fuel station, 2stroke and 4stroke variants sold from a pump at the local chainsaw/garden machine shop, Able to re-use your old dunks and free to dump your old dunks
  13. Thats a line in the film 'Saving Grace' saw that last night!
  14. Agree with matty, not worth half the price tag, soaked up water like a sponge, making them super heavy, started falling appart at 5 months. i did find them comfy but overall very dissapointing
  15. How'd you figure that out Volume wise i fitted the whole of my 130 on the back of my mates 7.5tonner Weight wise my 130 pre chipbox had a load weight of circa 1.5t, a 7.5tonner double that minimum Agreed an 18tonner would possibly be better especially with a grab, but the original poster, from what i gather hasnt a HGV licence, although thats a little unclear Do you need the offroad ability or pto of the Mog?
  16. are you heading back on the same day?
  17. "i need this you need to remind me i need to do this, i need that, we need this you need to do this" Great Pics of the Game Ben! New Topgear and good old brittish beer now
  18. I brought a pram. . . . Rock n Roll
  19. They do make a Caddy 4motion, very popular here, slightly jacked up too, great van in slippery ground
  20. My manager in the UK turned up to quote a job, knocks on the door, bloke opens the door, drops down had a heart attack!
  21. think youve missread, its For new drivers, "Category BE If your trailer weighs over 750 kg and the combined trailer and towing vehicle weight is more than 3,500 kg, you’ll need to pass a further test. The trailer you tow must not be heavier than 3,500 kg. This test will be shown on your driving licence as category BE. For C1+E is if you want to A) use a sub 3.5t vehicle to tow over 3.5t, or B) if you use a plus 3.5t vehicle to tow over 750kgs (Just C1 needed to drive over 3.5t and tow under 750kg) I think!
  22. Well done!
