  1. Kit form? Awesome! What is it?
  2. Optimistic speedo!
  3. Has nothing to do with if the av is better or not, The av mounts on the handle on both 560's have rattled/shaken loose, both 560's are temperamental with starting, both 560's are awesome saws when running. The stihls are 100%reliable, not as fun as the huskys but guaranteed to start and run every day- IME Let me guess, your a husky person
  4. The husqvarnas more fun handles very well but very temperamental, the av springs rattle loose, the stihl just goes on and on and on and on. (560 and 361/362)
  5. What would have been cool is to have a dynometer (?) or what ever its called to measure the peak loading. At the workshops I've been to, being able to know the peak load on the riggin system teaches us something, far more than a big snatch breaks a rope, makes you realise the forces involved and the importance of using correctly rated kit-knowing, not guessing the forces is an eye opener for those attending the workshop. Tbh I'd be a bit disappointed going to a workshop, seeing a demo with an obvious outcome and not being able to learn anything-just how much did the rigging system exceed the mbs? That was a 5ton log, but what force did it peak at when it snatched? How far would you have to let a log like that run/be slowed down before it was safe to stop it before it hit the deck?
  6. Not sure, the only picture i have of it is on its side! Not as user friendly, no joystick controls so its difficult to grab and raise/lower boom at the same time, jumpy hydraulics, harder to drive, much more basic
  7. The gehl isn't a patch on the avant/csf/Ferrari quality for like for like machines
  8. Perfect for the dwarfism thread!
  9. Nicely done!
  10. So he lost your saw tickets, offered straight away to replace them and you have backups? Your making a BIG deal out of nothing IMO

  13. Good for you I done some milling last week for a friend who supplied normal fuel, absolutely horrible, clothes stank after, used the saw to cut a stump down near a rock face the next day, couldn't breathe for the nasty fumes!
  14. Budget for a new set of tracks-I reckon stretched tracks were due to pulling too much
