  1. Great news NLJ! Its a great feeling when you can get kit delivered to another country quicker and cheaper than it can be sourced locally! the record for me by another site sponser is 23 hours, uk-sweden! Could 'jonsies' following be helped by justins daily parcipitation on threads?? (aswell as service!)
  2. He's standing on a motorway next to some aircraft hangers there

  4. Saw looks brand new:thumbup:
  5. What educational backround have you guys who are doing it got?
  6. Awesome, and works even better with the new silky (zubat) design, the case has slots for the elastic preventing the case slowly dropping down, preventing accidental damage to the straps no more fumbling about trying to insert the saw into the case when in akward positions, well worth trying
  7. Thats a great link and idea Monkeyd definatly something to work towards for a longterm future. might see if i can ask for a copy of the syalibus to see how indepth it is (im guessing very) Been asking on the Swedish Arborist sites and it the Euro tree worker exam is comming up in april which can be exchenged into an ISA cert arb, which might be a good start
  8. Been thinking about actually getting some sort of Arb qualification, but not sure what, so gratefull for advise! Obviously my location is a bit of a problem, i cant attend any weekly classes, but could attend something once a month in the UK. Is there any online courses i can do at my own pace? I dont really know, but i like the sound of ISA or AA, ISA Preffered as its more internationaly recognised
  9. Really cool Vid! 2.21 was an awesome bit of editing
  10. 22k give or take Kranman Bison 6000 | Dalarna | Blocket just the kranman trailer 10k'ish http://www.blocket.se/varmland/Timmervagn_med_kran_38649224.htm?ca=11&w=3
  11. 70cc works well Recently found that with inboard clutches with the direct mount it was a pain to fit, it was fitted slightly off destrowing the needlenose bearing, with out board clutched saws its as simple as changing a bar, much better imo if you want to take the saw off and on
  12. Oh yes! Clean your helmet first, i used bathroom bleach and it came up like new, let it dry, stuck it on and held firmly for a minute. the cameras had plenty of knocks when on the helmet, still stuck fast, and the mounts been soaked in rain, snow, plus 35c and minus 25c
  13. oh dear god, landrover are making some crap now
  14. Use the curved sticky mount just foward of center, with the visor up it just touches the camera body on mine
  15. I pruned some in Cambridge, just reduced back some of the sticky outy bits (profesional term there) to pull their form into a tighter more formal shape, no regrowth from cuts 3 years later

    Axes?

Come again? Cool, Why do you find it usefull? I was looking at the medium forest axe . . I dont like the weight of splitting mauls for carrying around, although they might be more efficient per swing It will definatly be a GB axe, as i can swing by the factory next time we visit my girlfriends family home in the north, Cheers on the heads up on that Xersuis:thumbup:

    Axes?

Gränsfors is almost on the way, to Härnösand! Think it'll have to be a GB then, nice link
  18. If you're worried about it looking like it was you with your existing logs, take a sly photo of them doing it and keep hold of it

    Axes?

Looking for an axe, not for firewood, mainly for knocking in wedges when felling. not too heavy, a head of around 1kg, i want it for a long time, so must look pretty and i like the ones with polished heads seen some where the wooden shaft is protected with metal where it normally gets splintered but cant remember the make. anyone got reccomendations?
  20. whats happening to yours? 5 months in and the black ankle supports on mine are in pieces, and theres no way they're waterproof, the leather seems to soak up and hold any moisture
