  1. I did like tea once but now drink black coffee nd tea without milk just isn't rite as now it makes me feel yuk Got to be decent stuff followed by plenty of water.
  2. It's often me the boss who has to drop everything and go as my son has a potentially life threatening genetic disorder and can go down hill quickly nd need taking to hospital for tests or treatment even if the job has to stop the lads get paid and understand that unless anything changes tomorrow is yard maintenance and logs. This makes me I hope quite understanding towards them and anything that may come up which I hope makes for a better atmosphere of trust and understanding which leads to a happier working environment so better production.
  3. Ha ha I'll look out for you nd give you a wave before running you off the road 😜 Could be a team doing something on the a1 I guess or power line team.
  4. Not sure who that is as seen it around a few times as well, not me as I have a st8 normally behind a orange rb44 or 1 of the landys.
  5. I like those, to me contrasting materials used together works and the clean lines of the mettle being softened by the cracks and irregularities of the timber gives them the caricature. Followed a link to some burnt stools that look like Swedish candles half used put out and sanded, bet they sell for a fortune!
  6. Got a big pile to resharpen so interested in 1 too
  7. Looks same dimensions as 230 as I'd expect the new 190 to be bigger in footprint and bigger feed hopper, could be a 230 with a larger engine option say 45hp hence having to relocate the air filter.
  8. No worries. Easy to do on this phone. Will teach you how 1day 😜
  9. Must be decent not to snap, would be interested to find out 😜
  10. For ultra low impact you won't go wrong with an iron horse, we use this older version on quite a few thinning jobs where nothing else would get in to extract everything without causing a mess. Also very easy to transport.
  11. Problems with the US stuff is running costs for the big engine, parts availability for the boom, Hi insurance costs and a little more to look at for getting it passed for lola.
  12. I have a landy with a mewp on and it is actually quite good advertising as it stands out a bit as well as being very useful and a huge time saver with the added bonus that it can tow the chipper or grinder to site if we'd needed a 2nd vehicle to go for that anyway.
  13. Ow yes, last mins made it worth while, hope it's an attachment and not dedicated to that job or its a very expensive setup.
  14. Posted this vid in the digger thred but thought it was worth putting here as well, skip to middle.
  15. This is better combining a few of our favorite things, grinder digger and mog.
  16. You got 9 months, I wish I'd managed that - only 6 for me before the sole started to fall off. Had nearly 2 years from a set of arbtec fell hunters, they have just about had it now but still comfortable just the stitching is going.
  17. Cheers johny kind words indeed 😜Do you think more should have been taken off? Like everything that didn't look like a stump!
  18. Tidy job. never had a go with a long reach, guess you have to take it a bit easier with all that extra boom. Who's mulcher was that, looks newish.
  19. Standards and perception as a whole which doesn't mean we all need to become aa approved contractor but presenting a professional image and trying to do things correctly (whatever that is is still open to interpretation)
  20. Might start applying to do very slight reductions or a 5% thin as almost guaranteed to get passed then sent the apprentice to hack on in that case nd cut of everything that looks like a branch like the customer wanted to get more light instead of wasting valuable time educating them and doing a good job for all involved.
