  1. I've set up my tm bridge the same but with a Kong duck which seems a lot better constructed and kinder on the rope. Augusts new tribe belt won't come with an adjustable bridge but you can fit 1 as the way the straps and bridge come together is quite similar to the tm. I've just got 1 before Christmas and only had a couple of climbs and no real faffing time yet but can report it's incredibly comfortable and very sits almost perfectly out the box. 3. Wish anyone would pay that around here for decent cutters as I'd be more inclined to do more again. 140 - 150 is the upper limit I can push and that's normally oversized timber or ugly technical stuff. The only real way I see it being worth our time is where I can put the tractor/winch/trailer or 360 and grab on site as well to assist and charge a decent rate for whole job. Luckily most of the forestry we do is what some would call pretty forestry on estates where a tidy job is more important than production or avoiding damage to remaining trees takes priority and they are willing to pay for this service and skills. 13. Almost the same as above, we do a lot of emergency works which alway pay well above normal rates but today it's extra again, it's normally a fixed rate per call-out which some you think were OK but not brilliant and others are frankly easy extra money for the lads and the business. Today took 1 1/2 hrs from 1st call to me being back home as as a relatively small tree which came down onto a road and unfortunately put a car windscreen through so had policy attendance. I don't mind doing them as goos for the business which I put a lot of work into and if it helps get better gear or means I can earn a lot in a little time and not impact anything else and then take a few days off to take kids out payed for by 1 nights work I don't mind doing it. Think in a few years time I might think differently and pass more onto willing staff who think the same about earning extra for there family. Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  14. I was but from call to getting home only took 1 1/2 hrs 10" ash come over onto Road and put someone's windscreen through so got a police attendance call to clear and make safe, Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app

  17. Some noise canceling blue tooth headphones from the wife for when I'm trying to do paperwork at home and kids are making lots of noise I can drown them out with decent tunes Quite a few bottles of beer to work through but unlikely today as on call but hopefully nothing till after big family meal I'm on cooking now. Present to self for work, new wincg Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app

  20. Busting up of some big ugly lumps of pop down to a size the hiziohack can deal with when I get it in again to chip everything up, amazing how much you can get done in a short time with big gear working in harmony 😉 Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  21. Big thanks to farmi forest and global recycling for going above normal service to get me a winch out yesterday after a courier mess up where they collected but decided instead of delivering when agreed they would leave it till after Christmas dropping me in the poop. Greg or Craig, apologies as not sure which at farmi tracked down another winch the same and had it collected from Wales and fetched up to Yorkshire late last night so I could fulfill a promise to do some work with it between Christmas and new year so again a big thanks and I'd recommend this service to anyone. 22. That's a beast of a machine, any more pictures or details? Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  23. Don't think it'll make much difference as they are quite bulky themselves. Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  24. The way the shafts are put on the floor is where they will be clipped on to both ends, part of the problem is big ends from clicker on 1 and shear bolt on other. Think I'm going to end up extending the bottom links on chipper out a bit to push it out more and give more room. Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  25. Can't, it's a reversing gearbox to get chipper to spin correctly Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
