  8. We have a 17year old girl starting soon as an apprentice through a colleague work experience scheme and need to update some of our policies to take into account her age and wanted to know if anyone has a good young persons industry specific risk assessment they would be willing to share as I have to get it into the college tomorrow. Email would be perfect if you do. Thanks, John lawrence . [email protected] Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app

  10. Some big grandis taken out over a access road, again scale is hard to see but the bottom stem is about 20" at stump, impressive how it's lifted the smaller clean up into the air. Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app

  14. Little but annoying, clutch blew apart on 560xp half way into a back cut. Thankfully a dead saw at the yard had the perfect part still intact to fix it. Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. Possibly but I struggled to find 1 and so did rob d so for a few more quid just changed the drum then it's easy all the time to get a new rim should 1 bust. Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  16. Nope you have to change the clutch drum as well as the 325 and 3/8 sprocket centre's are different sizes. Channged both 560s over and ordered the 550 to come with it as means I have 6 saws all running the same size chain so get reals and make up to suit which works out a fair bit cheaper. 17. Back in the woods today on a half blown clear fell working next to a harvester cutting root plates and dropping the oversized and incredibly heavily branched edge trees. That's a 372xp with 20" on top. Some interesting regrowth on some of the blown trees Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  18. Fantastic work, always fancied doing something similar. Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  19. Guess it'd be easy enough to tow trailer with dumper and put a divert off the tipping circuit to power the crane, Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  20. Role over bar is just that it's not falling object protection or strictly role over protection it's just to prevent the machine rolling over completely onto the driver. If your going onto construction sites you'll definitely get pulled up on it as I've seen countless dumper drivers getting a telling for remaining in the seat while the machine is loaded by an excavator as they are completely exposed. I think your concept is good and it should be a capable little machine, just wouldn't want you sinking a whole bunch of money and time into it to find you couldn't use it. 21. I think a bigger problem could be that a 5 ton dumper has no rops fops cab so if your operating the crane from an unprotected position you should have check valves on the crane so should a pipe burst it won't come crashing down on you and also should have 6monthly lola checks. Would be far easier to get a giant like bobs and Base it on that as it's a bit bigger and more stable already with protective cab already, two for sale on eBay at moment http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/182442374456 Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
