  20. Wasn't that noticeable till you got another next to it and everything was just a little rounded off but still looked perfectly ok to use. Think the lifespan can depend on many things including climbing style, rope type, how well you and your groundsmen look after your rope and keep it out the grit, and how much tree gunk gets into every thing when working. By using yale imoria and bailing out way too fast way to often, got new rope which was actually blue tongue and it just crept constantly when under my full weight, tryed my mates new 1 which was fine so put it down to just being worn on the bars so not creating enough friction anymore.
