  1. Ugly lime with some interesting gonads ;-)
  2. Anybody happen to know the filter numbers for the engine and fuel filters on an rb44 forgot to note them down last time I ordered them.
  3. All tipped off now sorry, blame the app as never warns you about getting near the load limit.
  4. Remote controlled chipper mover: This'll be better than me trying to explain it.
  5. Do you put the aluminium ring on the plastic shaft or not bother, going to have to stick it into the wedge head at today every time I hit it it bounced out which was very annoying!
  6. Strange timing as was just looking at an impact rench in my local saw shop this afternoon and bloke there said don't be tempted to use it for the op's porpoise for just said reason.
  7. Yeh that too, the joy of a democratic society we each get to choose and be counted.
  8. Someone to blame, hide behind or a way of explaining our own shortcomings. Or possibly just an excuse not to work Sundays ;-)
  9. Yes you do, cut the stitches on the tail end and slide it off, I've replaced my 1 with 5m of teckion which is actually much nicer and smoother than the original rope. Now also have a 2.5m length and swap about depending on the job.
  10. Lean wasn't as bad as pictures look but wind changing direction mad for a few stressful moments. It's a 20ton stubby jack and not much it won't lift, also had winch on the rb44 pulling but was just dragging truck across the wet grass which was interesting, should have taken ground anchor!
  11. Dropping a big ash today, forgot the top plate for the jack which made things a little interesting along with a gusty wind that decided to change direction mid way through the back cut trying to push it back towards the road. Lovely grain and a lot sounder than the survey suggested!
  12. You sir are a genius Why didn't I think of that Even if it's just to lift it up to get restraints cables/chain/strap type things on to hold it for transport, Might get some slightly longer arms yet so the top link is at a better angle but need to sort the holding cables 1st.
  13. 1164, nice beast. One of the 1st forwarders I ever used. 1 was a winch setup but pulled an old yellow botex and the other was like yours but with extra wide tires which were kind to the ground but not to gate posts.
  14. Not sure who the mulcher came from but its being converted by forest machine service in hexam, might have finished it now. The mulcher looks a little smaller than yours but could be deciving with the big toe you have on, what's the reason/use for that?
  15. Looking good hamdogg, serious kit on that job and a proper chipper this time ;-) What you think of the little skid steer?
  16. Looks like you leave a much neater job than the last excavator mulcher I'd had in on a job. A mate of mine is just on mounting a seppi on a 14ton zero tail swing dooson also being set up similar to a harvadig machine to swap about easier which should be a fair machine when done, will get some pictures up next time I'm over his way.
  17. That's in 3rd gear just off tickover. Unfortunately on really knotty stuff the safety on the winch valve kicks in which is why I need a 2nd circuit fitting. Plugged it into yard owners tractor and couldn't find anything in my log pile it wouldn't split. Next mod is an adjustable stop to prevent the blade going all the way up ever time.
  18. Rb44 powered splitter: Link arms are at a fixed hight for now so just lift splitter with big trolley jack and slide arms on, top link is like any normal tractor, not going to be on permanent just as and when we need it on site, going to make a frame to sit it on when in the yard and have some longer pipes out to truck till I either get a loader tractor or a power pack to run it off, it's only for doing my own logs and odd times clients want there own timber splitting on site. Hydraulic bloke is ment to be coming to fit a 2nd circuit to plug into but for the test just undid winch pipes and connected them to splitter.
  19. Well we have almost got it sorted. Since taking photos I've cut the bottom link bar off and re welded to at the very bottom at the same hight as the table so it carries a bit higher, looking for someone to make up crimped steel cables to replace the webbing straps if any1 know anyone?
  20. Some cool work on video in that lot big:thumbup:for that.
  21. Yeh sorry that's what I ment but phone predicted what I meant.
  22. Nothing new is ever cheaper which is expectable with all the R & D that will have had to go into it, what was the %£ increase from the 150 to the 240 then that could be an indication, I have no doubt it'll be a better machine having seen what timberwolf has all ready achieve with the new models of machine.
  23. Remember Anwick job! You spent best part of 6 days grinding solidly about 100 stumps a day with it!
  24. Ha ha I wish , no I'm married so not allowed cash any more ;-)
