  1. Fantastic, bet you slept well that night! Also see you have seen the light and joined the husky club ;-)
  2. Best grinder, see picture. As for price, just make something up and hope for the best if it's just grinding but if it's part of a total tree job price go just about cost as a sweetener to get whole job.
  3. Petzle do kids rock climbing helmets if you just need a shell without defs, try go outdoors they had them last time I was in at quite a sensible price.
  4. NFU special vehicle policy for the road so not likely to be a problem with them.
  5. Time we tidy out all that crap timber I've dumped in your yard over the last year, must me a good 10 - 15 ton there for starters. ;-)
  6. Anyone tell me what the score is with bull bars or whatever you want to call them on landrovers? Fancy fitting this to the 130 cherrypicker so I can get some extra lights on front and get a winch fitted for next time it sinks Check out this item I found on eBay: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=171715065259&alt=web
  7. So apart from nursing a hangover anything good planned for today? Happy birthday bud
  8. Yeh scraggs they're the ones I am looking at as seem to be one of the strongest on the market while still looking good. Want to turn the landy into a real head turner as a working tool and advertising statement.
  9. Problem with genuine wolf rims is you can only fit standard skinny tires, I'm also looking for rims that can carry a 130 cherrypicker but give a bigger footprint and help reduce how much it sinks on soft ground. Got 265 75 16 on the 130 twin cab and even full of chip it hardly leaves a mark but it has started to buckle the deep dish alloys.
  10. London Grammar - Maybe - Animation: A Shadow of Blue: https://youtu.be/0JqwYrftXeI The Paper Kites - St Clarity (Official Music Video): Two of my current favourite songs at moment.
  11. Some hungry trees from the last two Day.
  12. I think yard space rent is just so variable because no too yards or persons needs from that space are the same, if your smalland only need a bit of storage and can fit in a bit of underused space on a farm and give a bit of rent some logs and the odd helping hand it's easy to find a willing farmer but as soon as you need better access say for timber or chip waggons to get in, hard standing, covered storage space and are actually using the are as working space there not many who ain't using this already so want and need more for it. Location is also a consideration, both for security and nescience factor, can you only make noise between 8am and 5pm without pissing any1 off so no fixing on a evening or all night firewood sessions. You might get the perfect place at the perfect price but then council come along and say you need to pay a ridiculous business rates amount per year, in our case for 1 yard we were about to go for this was more than the rent which made it unviable.
  13. How do you find it stability wise with duels off, got mine same time as you and haven't had the need to take them off yet.
  14. I did admittedly it hit the anvil when that cracked but out of curiosity I cut the blade in half and it looked like Swiss cheese, full of very very small air bubble but big anough to see without glasses on(non genuine blade) so also cut up a genuine fooked blade that had hit gravel and wore out a cutting disk doing so but steel looked completely different inside.
  15. Use the 14mm for nearly everything but got a 20mm for when I'm in a rush and want to rig big, might be big but it's still usable ;-) Thought about a 12mm for speed line but not had a job to make an excuse to get 1.

Your boys above have them, but run a bead of weld down the front when you 1st get them to save ware on the holders front edge.

Had super teeth then got some 2nd had clamps for the old vermeer teeth that fitted the original wheel holes and kept similar looking tooth, used a mates with rino teeth in an inserter tip wheel which was fantastic and so smooth yet aggressive, really liking the greenteeth on the Hb20, these clamps should fit your wheel and work out cheaper in the long run as affectively have 3 edges.

Na, normally too worn by then and the 1 time I tried ended up having teeth snap from fatigue. Now on greenteeth and trying some weresharp ones at mo but would be interested in some better prices ones for jobs where I know there's a good chance of totalling a set.

Let us know how the teeth hold up in comparison to genuine one's as have found another brand of aftermarket teeth seemed to chip off very badly in comparison to genuine which just got dull and easily re sharpened.
  20. You are a lucky man! Did you chainsaw or silky your lanyard, quick thinking whichever as could have been nasty injuries otherwise.
  21. Nice 1 Ian, you should have set it in time sink to mach the maturing of your beard over the last few years ;-). Really want 1 of those little powered winches!
  22. At 250 a day so would I!
  23. Might have to get you over to sort our kits out Pete as lad who has done them last few years seems to have disappeared again and left me with sod all paperwork, pm me some costs if you want.
  24. Never good to hear a man's down, heal quick and do whatever the docks say to help you get back to where you were. Keep us updated how you get on and in your own time what happened as a warning to the rest of us.
  25. Fantastic once I changed the rope.
