  1. yes, but will you sell parts without a serial number under any circumstances??
  2. Rewire security. They sell them on ebay. Around 100 quid. I will look their details up
  3. Depends on the type of tracker. One wired in is easy to find, but I have a small magnetic one that is easily hidden. Even the manufacturer couldnt find it. You ring it and it txts you a google map link to its location. No yearly fees and just needs a sim card toppedup
  4. I will look on the sprocket tomorrow and report back. I just want the right chain and bar for the saw!
  5. Cabstar, thats why they are used as cherry pickers, as no other vehicle can take the weight
  6. great little machine, but at 4.5tonnes, not easy for most of us to transport from site to site!
  7. thanks Here is what i ordered: Stihl 14" Chain Loop PM3 3/8 Picco 050 - 50 Links Stihl Rollomatic Guide Bar 14" - 3005 000 4709 it was from lsengineers, so that link you sent looks the best option thanks for your help!!
  8. Ok. Any idea what that should be. Picco micro?
  9. It seems to be ok on the bar, but not the sprocket. Can I change the sprocket?
  10. Excuse my ignorance, but I replaced the bar and chain on my saw, and the chain jams on the sprocket. When I compared it to the old chain, the drive links are closer togther. does anyone know what chain I need to buy? Its a 14" Its also the quick tension model
  11. There needs to be a clampdown on spares for these machines to make the selling on harder. when my crusher got stolen, the manufacturer immediatelly noted the serial number, and would refuse to sell spares for it. In other words, no serial number, no spares. Its time timberwolf, greenmech etc had the same policy, that way these machines will surface eventually. these chipper thefts seem to be too common
  12. ingimex are not too far away, telford i believe.
  13. I am sure we keep having this debate. Pulling a trailer with your own tools or machinery to carry out your work within a 50mile radius is exempt, otherwise anyone towing a chispper needs one!
  14. The other point of the gravel board is that it stops the panel rotting. If the gravel board rots, its a couple of quid to replace, if the panel rots, its much more expensive
  15. So without a gravel board, you have not put a centre stump in, and have found another way to stop bowing and sag?
  16. I use a sharpened rabbiting spade. You can also drill a series of holes along it and smash through. Not easy, but can be done
  17. Where do I come and collect the timber from?!
  18. Its not too bad. Never had an issue with slippage
  19. I brought 10 of those sheets from solway, and had a 7.5 tonne steel tracked machine across them with no marks to the lawn or the sheets. They are used time and time again, and unlike plywood, wont rot, easy to pressure wash, and stronger
  20. My mate has the same problem. He goes over the grass first with a knapsack blower to remove any waterstuck to the grass, then mows with little or no problems!
  21. those machines are awesome. I saw a video on youtube of it climbing up the side of a building! incredible
  22. Pacific Laser Systems HVR 505R Mid Range Red Beam Laser Level - Measuring & Detecting, Levels & Pointers, Laser Levels the above is my system. i saw it at plantworx, and brought it from these guys. Its rechargeable, but also comes with a battery pack should the need arise!
  23. the one i have has a slope function. It can tilt to match the existing slope, you then need to make sure the beam hits the same position on each post. simple!
  24. Sorry, not sure if I posted right. I understand the corner settign out now. Mine does have that function. its a pacific laser system machine, american.
