  1. Just hope the insurance dont wriggle. Its only 6 months old, still on finance
  2. Had my crusher pinched with the trailer. Last seen in yaxley, peterborough. Distinctive trailer (sprayed red ), very rare crusher, so hard to offload. Guy hired but has not returned it, no payment, payg mobile, sent someone else to collect. Still waiting for the police to come round.. He has done this before i have found out today
  3. Providing the green waste does not touch the ground. I bring it back and fill a tipping trailer up, then tip it. the laws on burning mentioned above baffle me. One of my neighbours was burning tyres, the council said as its a domestic bonfire, he can burn what he likes. Great help they were
  4. Very true!
  5. Jumping on this thread, I can recommend you buy sodium hypochlorite, or swimming pool bleach. Mix this up with water 10 to 1 with a dash of baby shampoo to act as a surficant and spray this onto the deck first. Leave it tomsoak for 30 mins, then pressure was off. Will work wonders, and leave it in better state than just pressure washing
  6. Prices? Or do we guess?
  7. I dig the soil away each side of the ball of concrete, hammer the claw attachment into each side and lift with the puller. It gets 95% of them out, just the odd one it wont lift, due to being too wide, or the concrete tapers the wrong way
  8. Postpuller. Ihave one and its superb. Should only cost you 35 for the day, plus once its pulled out, the hole is dug. I have dug them out with a ripper on the digger before
  9. Ignition module?
  10. Had a bateson auto tilt. Was superb. Looking at brian james at the moment. bear in mind with that operating weight, you cannot have any mud on the tracks or on the bucket, as that can add 50kg. That trailer looks good though, if you can stay legal
  11. Log it into small bits, and hire some conveyors to get it out
  12. Eliet are good for shredding. I have the big 18hp, but there are smaller ones on ebay
  13. Nice. What jointing did you use. Lovely slabs too
  14. Postpuller. If you go to postpullers.co.uk, you will see what it can do. I have pulled all sorts of shrubs out with mine
  15. brian james all the way for me. Got an ifor tipper and the build is not really up to scratch anymore. The brian james trailers are second to none for build and aftersales service. They are on the end of the phone for any technical queries too.
  16. Way too much bedding material by the looks of it. More sub base needed. Looking good thougb
  17. Had them for the last 20 years, never had any issues. Got my new one coming next week. They carry more weight than anything else out there
  18. Any one translate that for me?
  19. Tee total me, but I know someone who was self employed and lost his licence. He was in the pub every day from midday, and the barmaid tipped off the old bill. He ended up employing a fellow bar propper for £80 a day to drive him around
  20. This was on my cabstar. Must be contagious
  21. Same thing happened to me, except I was driving down the road and felt a wobble, and the rear wheels were nearly off. Tightened by hand and drove to the tyre place. Wheel written off as it rounded the holes, and the studs were only just salvageable. they said someone had undone them deliberately. got to keep an eye on these things
  22. Bond bridgeing is only needed on natural stone. Its not pourous so it does not stick. you mix up sbr and cement as a paste and paint it on the back of the slab prior to laying. Sbr should also be addded to mm the mix. sbr in the pointing is ok, but watch out it does not get on the slabs or it will stain. try using easipoint. You mix it up and gun it in. Its mega strong, and 10 colours to choose from. Sand and cement will fail after a couple of years
  23. you need to add sbr to the mix and do a bond bridge on sandstone. Too many call backs later otherwise
  24. Why the coursed laying pattern as apposed to random layout? what jointing will you be using. Not geoshite I hope?
  25. Notgot one myself, but the only difference is backup from dealers. Which ever one you buy, make sure the dealer is up to the job of spares backup and servicing. my mate has just junked his transit and got one. Best thing he ever did. Its a far superior van, and the drive is much nicer. I had one as a loan van for a week and was sorry to see it go
