  1. But I found the opposite. Horses for courses
  2. Why should he have brought an ifor?
  3. Oh no questions asked. That's warranty!
  4. Is that a warranty item?
  5. Thought so, my mate fitted one in the end
  6. Mate has a 460, but it doesn't have an hour clock on it?.?
  7. The plastic is laid under the concrete to prevent a phenomenon called plastic cracking. It's where the ground sucks the moisture for the poured concrete faster than the curing rate allows for, and will cause cracks to appear in the top layers. You can simply fill these cracks with neat cement brushes in, but it's not ideal
  8. I have one, have always had them. My only gripe with this one is lack of power, it a remap will sort that out. They are no longer made, but some dealers have stock left. It's a good truck , reliable and really nice to drive. Lsd stops it getting stuck, easy hill start, heated seats, heated mirrors. Shame dealers round me are useless I need to think about what to buy when this is five years old. Thinking about the iveco.
  9. Am I missing something? Everyone is applying to borrow money, it's got to be paid back with interest I presume? So why is this worth doing exactly??
  10. It's such a nice burning wood, we use that line to any customers that want to keep it so we get to take it away for ourselves!
  11. Holly on a fire? We call that "the chimney eater"- round here!
  12. I have a great saying " too many horses, not enough glue. You do the maths!"
  13. They give a smooth ride when the trailer is empty or full. Tow an ifor empty and then tow a Brian James empty. Its night and day
  14. I have moved over to Brian James from ifor. Far better build quality and ride handling . Once the tipper needs replacing, it will be a Brian james
  15. So we can still afford hs2 after all this lockdown?
  16. How old are the logs? It looks like oak, which on it's own is not a great burner, and needs three years to season, ideally two of them outside in the weather
  17. I am shocked at the amount of unnecessary crap they teach them. My daughter had two write three pages on sikhism! What good is that to her in later life? I am concentrating on maths, science and English. That's it
  18. If there is a piece of wood jammed in the drum, then the starter motor will not turn , it will just tick when you turn the key
  19. Just to clarify it comes in at 3.2t with the trailer and loaded up. I just re read it and it sounded like it came in at 2.7t loaded. If that's with the weight if the trailer, that's quite good!
  20. Can you explain further? I fitted a digital meter on my eliet, its registering 14volts when running, 18hp Briggs and stratton
  21. If I brought a 35hp now and in a years time the engine blew up, would it then have to have the 24hp shoved in it?
  22. Nice I will have a look at them. Looked at a leguan , 34k plus vat. I can see the massive benefits over buying one
  23. What make is that mewp Ian? Not seen one like that. Looks an awesome bit of kit. Can it be loaded on a 3.5 tonne trailer?
  24. Buy a bottle of tyre seal, it will plug the gap and save getting any more punctures Run the machine, get a tester and Check for a good earth, all wires tight etc. Most likely the regulator, but loose wire is possible
  25. Is that a digger?? No! But who cares it's a great piece of machine porn!
