  1. Ive seen that on larch plantations, something to do with wrong species in the wrong location.
  2. Thats the last thing I want, no offence. I only ask that you dont post countless threads on AT as I do think it has a negative impact on the forum.
  3. So if I give £100 to a charity you wont post on here again? Deal. I will send it to S Bullman, he can dish it out:thumbup1:
  4. Give me your address I will send you a telly.
  5. Please can you tone it down with the amount of threads you post? Imagine if a few more members decided to start a thread about every desicion they came across, the forum would be dead within 5 minutes. You have started 75% of the threads in the lounge, with 22K members thats some doing. Why not just have one thread running with your daily posts like Silky does.
  6. FFS, do you really need to ask that question? Live life on the edge, make a decision for yourself or visit your local gas supplier.
  7. That's what I was wondering. Plus why would anyone have a slipping sj never mind put it in for inspection? I wouldn't put a car in for mot knowing the brakes weren't great hoping the inspector wouldn't notice. None of this is a dig at the op btw just seems a bit bizzare to me.
  8. Its a bad idea. The shackle can easily take the weight but it will fck your rope and although the shackle wont fail the rope probably will. I am speaking from experience about the above, buy a pulley or something designed to do the job in hand.
  9. That's good to know:thumbup1:
  10. From what I understand he might need surgery to have the celox removed. It's for a life threatening emergency only.
  11. Well after a lot of reading and digesting I have come to the conclusion that things are constantly improving no matter who is in charge. I'm not rich but I have loads of brilliant gadgets about, have a big TV , have access to loads of interesting programs, can potter about all over the UK if I wish due to having my own transport, go on some fairly decent holidays and have plenty of time to waste typing all this out on a forum. My Dad certainly didn't have much of the above and his Grandad had practically none. Life isnt that bad when you look at what we have, as already said even the poor arent that badly off, the homeless probably have it better now than they didnt 20 years ago. Due to a little incident earlier, the party getting my vote is the one who can get a company to make a toaster that will accommodate a full piece of toast without me having to jam it in there and toast it to perfection.
  12. A very large portion of blame does lie with the evil bankers, without them forcing credit down people's throat who couldn't afford to pay it back the economy wouldn't have boomed as much but then it surely wouldn't have fell so far on to it's ass. With great power comes great responsibility. (Or some shizl like that, best ask spiderman for the exact phrase)
  13. I was just thinking the same They can repay £163bn in around 6 years:001_huh:
  14. It's a tv and telephone cable hardly life threatening. Just join them together and don't worry. If it doesn't work your client can call the relevant company up and say there's a fault, they will then come out and replace the cable. I've done it plenty of times with a grinder.
  15. Have you tried it or are you speculating? I have its ace, 50p then bang, im straight through. I wish all these call centres had it, 50p to save you waiting in line, bargain.
  16. They did, didn't they? Didn't they bail the banks out to some extent. Anyway, no one trudges in pig shite fixing the roof when they can be rolling in the hay while the sun is shining. And I dont believe a single person who says they will. If tories are in power then there will be less spending on the nhs, schools and other services I use, thats good enough for me to not vote for them compared to the slight benefit I might get due to running my own business, which does technically make us middle class, wot, wot.
  17. I dont think Labour caused the recession mate. It was sub prime bstards that did it.
  18. It might have been best to include this bit in your previous post. I quote the above because it can be your livelihood so heed but dont take it literally the advice of others. Some will say the boss knows all and will reward good workers while others say the boss is oblivious to whats going on so you must make him aware. There is no right answer on what you should do except that if you are unhappy with your working conditions then its up to you to make a change, that will only happen if you speak to the boss, I guess only you can be the judge on what to say.
  19. Ditto, plus I'm not rich enough to benefit from voting tory. Wasn't it a global economic crisis? Therefore it was the Americans fault. All I can base my vote on is what I think benefits me and my family which also includes the jobs they do. In general Labour benefits us the best.
  20. I'm not saying to just go out and punch someone. Anyway imo congratulating how great his mates are for standing by him is condoning his actions. I'm sure they are all good mates but better ones would have stepped in and stopped it. Unless of course he did deserve a slap. Plus you have 3 or 4 threads running on Clarkson so you must be quite a big fan of his.
  21. Read the thread title and the first post.
  22. You do realise that you are condoning clarksons actions, don't you?
  23. I guess you did a bit more than a punch in the face! I agree through there is no way I would contemplate doing jail time plus there is a good chance I would end up worse off in a fight. Although it doesn't escape the fact that a lot of people do deserve a punch or two and good on those who dish it out. At least there is a slot available on the bbc for another singing, dancing, showing you have no talent reality tv show:thumbup1: because if there is one thing we need on tv it's more of the above.
  24. I would say it does. If someone takes the piss out of you then I see no reason why they should get away with it. Although not a fan of the Jeremy Clarkson show I have read some of his books, which I liked. Lots of people deserve a punch to the face but never get it, no doubt it will be the ruin of society.
  25. Not really a song but something I just remebered [ame] [/ame] song wise [ame] [/ame] [ame] [/ame]
