  1. Never understood the removing the dogs lark. Just makes it more difficult for me, and thats the last thing I would want.
  2. Good to see that for some the cost does go down! It does all seem very random though for some reason:confused1:
  3. Looks like a good un.
  4. I would hope I could do it and would imagine most of us would when the survival instinct kicks in. Whether I would leave it too long and then be too weak to carry it out or survive afterwards would be another thing.
  5. I expect a vid of said splitter when its running?
  6. No they dont. In fact no one really needs to do anything they enjoy at all. We should all just work, eat to survive and have just enough kids to sustain the population. Anything else is just purely greedy. I dont think anyone would moan if the cost they paid for flights was a fair reflection on the service etc. What I dont agree with is when the government just decide to bung another tax on long distance flights
  7. Because he replaced the land cruiser with a mini. I don't mean everyone who has a 4x4 could realistically swap it for a mini! I would never complain about gas guzzlers, it's up o them if they want to put a load of fuel in their tank. Besides a jumbo is a lot more fuel efficient than a fiesta.
  8. To live the rest of 'MY' life in blissful happiness. Is there any other reason for living?

    Mini Cannon!

Thats one of the coolest things Ive seen!!!
  10. I was going to say "One Million Dollars!!" I wouldnt have been far out. Has anyones car insurance gone down, ever? I mean just gone down from the previous year, NOT changing companies or haggling etc. Apparently it gets cheaper when you hit 25, that was 10 years ago and it still hasnt happened.
  11. Good(speedy) call. All the best to him.
  12. Surely its their job so they can sell stories! If they didnt you wouldnt get much free news. Besides no doubt for a lot of people the increase will badly affect their standard of living, no matter how small some of us think it is. Actually for those who think the increase isnt a problem just donate the equivalent ( on every single purchase that isnt related to their business)to a local charity, the childrens trust or this site.
  13. Yeah but didnt you have a land cruiser when a mini would do the job? Plus as soon as you can afford it you are going to buy another! I dont understand any of the logic of putting the price up to get cars off the road. I agree with the cull though.
  14. These days are car is a necessity to most people rather than a luxury as it once was. To just increase the cost because it's easy to do and collects millions of pounds of tax is just extorsion in my book. In reality most of us will just continue to use our cars as normal, provide the government with more funds and charge our customers more money to do the same work due to vat, fuel increases etc etc. To those that welcome the increase and are happy with it:scared1:, well, your as mad as a box of frogs.
  15. Brilliant.
  16. Of course:001_rolleyes: There's a forum for everything, there is one that compares chinese V curry plus a dedicated arb whining section.
  17. Been a very very poor year. Not just basing this on my business/personal opinions but also on friends and family that have also had a rough time of it. Too many redundancies and 'forced' job changes to make it a good year. Yes if we compare our lives to those that live in sub sahara africa we are all extremely lucky, but , well life aint like that so what we need to do is learn from the past and look forward to the future, its all we have.
  18. Surely nothing is constant but weight is more accurate. I can see all the above becoming more of an issue with the demand increasing and margins thinning.
  19. See you fluffed it from the start. You shoulda ordered a CHINESE not a curry. Mine is still holding out also, I havent done a tap of work yet.

Some also have a hard seat, just to let you know in case you didnt.
  21. Love it. You know on some mobile phone forum some dealers are bitching about customers just wanting the cheapest price and not caring about support, customer care or professionalism. I bet theres also a few saying "No, stick to your guns, you only want the good ones, if we all lower our prices we will be working for nothing, dont sell yourself short," etc etc. Back the the thread though, I have a htc desire and wont recommend it, screen is poor in daylight and external speaker is poor ie sat nav. You cant really start comparing android phones to iphones unless you are only talking about using it as a phone!
  22. I was looking for info on a harness through google and found this site. How I wished I had used yahoo.
  23. Amazing stuff there:thumbup1: I wanna run on water:w00t:

  25. As Bob says it depends on how they say what they say not what they say, I think:confused1: If she was half joking and having a bit of a laugh she woulda got a nice 'no'but also a bit of an explanation (plus we would of used the blower to get rid of as much dust as possible anyway) If she was serious then it woulda been a firm 'no' with a bit of well why did you park your car right there when you knew something was wrong and the emergency work has taken longer because we had to take care not to damage the car etc etc. Either way there would be no chance I would pay for a car wash! I mean come on if we are talking about being extra nice and possibly getting work from it (which I don't agree with anyway) then do you go and knock on eveyones door when the wind has sprayed sawdust 20 houses down and covered cars and paths in a bit of dust? I reckon a fiver a car plus 10 minutes would soon add up.
