  2. Morning all, I carn't believe it, it's been very windy all weekend but not a single call out. Bet they start coming in this morning.

  4. I use a Trimble GeoXM that is bluetoothed to a Geo Beacon and a Trupulse Laser. The becon gives me less them 1cm accuracy and the lasers is used for gaining height and crown spread measurements. I then use Wood plan to down load and manage all the data along with Innogistics GIS mapping. I find that Woodplan does everything I ask of it.

  10. I find the Natanoko 2000 is a good compromise between curved and straight blades.
  11. The only thing I have ever been warned of when chipping Laurel is not to go in the chip box on the back of the van, as the enclosed space concentrates the cyanide gas and it might harm you.
  12. Smooth smooth smooth, liking the zip line and thinking what a good idea the 2:1 Tag line set up was and as for the twin lowering lines on the stem take down wow you can really see the benefit. As always Reg your video's are a joy to watch.

  19. I have always given private customers a price for the job, that way you both know where you stand. I did have one old girl a few years ago complain that I'd done the job to quickly, after agreeing a price for the job. However she did end up paying after I explained that we had never agreed on how long the work should take.
