  1. yay!!!!, light mornings and evenings on their way at last!. I've had enough of head torches, fumbling keybunches, reversing into concrete posts and running about trying to get jobs done before being plunged into primeval darkness!....
  2. thats good service. Ive been climbing a mk3 for a couple of years now and had no issues...
  3. the media sell newspapers...any juicy, negativity about things like new ships and aircraft is jumped on with relish
  4. I talked to an ex-Royal Navy bloke the other day about this. He said its nothing...this is what sea trials are for. Just the usual media digs at anything British. Move along please
  5. hedge your bets, get both!
  6. Can you post a pic up please mate?.. I like my 501sx, but I'm not impressed with the air filter...apparently you can change it?
  7. More cushion for pushin'! [emoji636][emoji324][emoji324]
  8. As an aside....what will happen when we have another public referendum?. Will the majority vote be over ridden by Parliament if the British people don't vote the way they want?. It could be about anything....the system is compromised.
  9. The tool attachment is a design fault that has been identified and ignored by Stihl for years....if anyone gets hit by a falling saw SUE STIHL!!!
  10. yep, we also sell by the cubic metre...300-350 logs dependant on cut size. works for us.
  11. I read the anti-tank pillboxes were built for 2 pounders (which turned out to be door knockers), the replacement 6 pounders didn't fit in em.
  12. Any saw built before the EU emission laws is going to be better...and more reliable
  13. Mine work fine...the problem is, as soon as the climber gets up the tree, he picks up every taxi driver and Polish lorry driver in England...frequency changes every 5 minutes mean we end up switching off and gobbing off!
  14. Dig a 10' pit and fill it with hungry jack Russell's....what a way to go! [emoji38]
  15. Watch your arcs Khriss!
  16. If it could break something...rig it. We use a hand held/tensioned zip line quite a lot. The more one-handing or cut and hold you do, the more likely you will get cut...you have to make the call.
  17. Ms201t is ok, Ms201tc is intermittent trouble, 540xp is ok but breaks, cs360 is alright, but heavy in the hand and a bit Under powered, ported Ms200t knocks all of the others into a hat...no question [emoji1360][emoji41]
  18. I've got BFG MTs one one Landy and bog-standard Continental ATs on the other. The ATs struggle a bit sometimes with a trailer on, but the MTs are awesome [emoji1360]
  19. surely this is still under warranty isnt it mate?
  20. No chance. Nobody wants a hard border in NI, but only Sinn Fein/IRA want to give away the Sovereignty of Ulster.
  21. exactly, imagine if we behaved like this to our customers?...we'd never get asked back for more work!...dont put up with it fellas...tell em to ram it!
  22. I'd just like to get drunk with him and start a fight in the British Legion! [emoji38] A couple of mates of mine went on the lash with Ollie Reed. The next day they went to his gaff and climbed over the gate. They all ended up drunk again and he head butted one of them. Legend.
  23. u A chalara infected Ash we monolithed on a wildlife trust reserve in Thaxted, Essex
  24. interesting. Its a shame, I had a good business relationship going with them years ago. Sadly, they only have one manager to cover 3 areas...and theres a 2-3 week waiting list for an appointment. Then this Safeguard nonsense on top of all that....time to move on to a friendlier bank methinks. I like the idea of Metro bank being open 7 days a week and till 2000hrs on weekdays... bank charges are more reasonable to. They have assured me they can transfer everything over within 2 to 7 days and any payments to my old accounts will be sent over to the new one.
  25. People need to use their noggins and not hire these scumbags. Leafleting is no longer an option in our area because of these people. We all know who they are ☠️
