  1. Yes, that Cuban showed his knee was harder than the Yankee's head. There were some great fights on the card. The all Polish women fight was great as was the Tyrone Woodley vs Wonderboy. I think that Cuban fella would give Bisping a run for his money.
  2. Nice to meet you Marc this weekend. I just stick to the pinto top tie, but until something else crops up that I find as easy to setup , I will be watching this space.
  3. Liberty. Oh, liberty!
  4. Picked one up at the APF after using a home made jobbie for about 3 years. I plumbed for the Velux without footloop. Seems to work fine and gives a decent stride length for max efficiency. I lent it to a you kid one day who fancied a go on SRT... he was much shorter than me but it worked a treat straight out of the box for him as well.
  5. Haha. Maybe it is a Swedish thing? My Swedish father in law is in his 70's and he delights in lecturing me on the number of hours he has worked in a week. He drives a taxi. I remind him that I climb trees (not sat in a drivers seat all day), carrying tools and rigging gear about the canopy and then when I have finished chopping it down I quite often have to pick it up and carry it out.
  6. Yup, a wonky painting. Great shot, very moody.
  7. Let us know what you end up with Paul. Decisions, decisions!
  8. Paul, I know you are a creature of habit. BUT As you have tried out that rope a couple of times, why not mix it up a bit. There are a lot of ropes to choose from out there. You never know mate, you might enjoy something else that isn't so bouncy. FTR I think blue tongue is really bouncy on a long haul. Tachyon is also bouncy but not as much as BT. Or as you said it was for rec climbing why not be a real maverick and go for something not CE marked. That opens up a whole new realm of ropes.
  9. I do believe that was a modified bridge that failed. The climber had replace the bridge with the incorrect type of cord, hence the failure when shock loaded.
  10. Highhams farm near biggin hill. Home
  11. Mark it is only the new pantin. The old one was fine for kicking out, unless you were a gimp, like yourself.
  12. I doubt there are any Hotels up there.
  13. Looking good John. Had a smallish Varigated Acer to RJ this morning. Approx 20% and thin and cut out the reverted growth. Customer happy. Second job cancelled. Rich
  14. Good work mate.

    Emigrating

After the H & S Legislation I have had to sit through today during a ROLO course... It has only confirmed that it is getting harder and harder to do this work in this country and the one way out for me is to move. I am glad it worked for you Reg and thanks for starting the thread as it has really cemented the plans in my mind.
  16. I have had a dash cam since last Christmas. The other day I noticed something blue flashing up before the screensaver kicks in. I turned the car on and off so check and sure enough it is a warning saying the Micro SD is screwed. Any suggestions or you reckon I should just get a new one?
  17. I think the main danger is it makes you a God in the eyes of most beautiful women. You are bound to get injured at some point fighting them off either that or wearing it down to a nubbin!
  18. I have had a 60 m length of 16mm polydine and it has been great. Highly recommended.
  19. Because he has a good agent and Lawyer who excel in writing early termination clauses. Scandalous, I know! #Canto-yes
  20. Only one choice left IMO. http://youtu.be/g-rQ5B8LHXE
  21. Good luck with it all. I hope it goes as smooth as it can.
  22. I think this is a similar situation to what I described earlier. Mind you the V5 has down as the maximum breaked weight when towing as 750 and unbreaked as 2800.
  23. Kevin, Check these boys out. A lot of options and well made. http://www.hardtopsuk.com/hardtops-and-accessories/Toyota/Hilux-vigo-mk8-11/double-cab/TVD814
  24. Pretty much what Ben said. Saying that I have been on the runner 75% of the time recently, having flown in the bone for the previous 18 months. I think now though my decision is based on the tree and task at hand, plus the rope I would choose to complete the task.
  25. Colin furze has some great vids out there. The 600cc tuktuk. Pulse jet powered objects. Turbo bbq. Turbo drift trike... The list is endless.
