  1. I always feel like the Black Diamond gear just sits on top of my head. Maybe something to do with the size of my cranium. It just doesn't feel stable. I am talking about the half dome though and not the new one Steve posted.
  2. Just buy the pfanners as the Stihl are crap.
  3. Or the Russian brass... Anya Bakyobich
  4. Or the Russian vet... Kutz Katzkoxov.
  5. It will have all grown back by tomorrow anyway mate. They don't call it "Mile a minute" for nowt! Groundhog Day.
  6. Says it is private mate.
  7. Read about 4 or 5 posts up Jonny. No need until it is bust. It is the only saw I have that Spud hasn't worked his magic on. Yet, people pick it up and more often than not they ask what have I had done to it? Answer, sweet FA. Literally, sweet FA I barely even clean the thing these days.
  8. But so was the 044 and the 046 and then the 440 and 460. Some like one and not the other and vice versa. I think the 461 is a great saw but I already have a 441 so won't be getting the 461.
  9. Don't really know the husky range but I would have thought the 560 was closer to the 361/2 saw.
  10. Nowt wrong with a 441. Mine screams with a 20" bar. I think I have blown the air filter out about 5 times in 6 years. Never do anything to it and it runs like a ported machine. Same as with most things, you get good and bad examples. Maybe I was just lucky or other people are unlucky. Who knows..?
  11. The whole job hummed! Brings back a few memories this thread.
  12. Wow Mull, you really have a way with words. Most arbs hate being called gardeners or is that your point?
  13. I would say it most definitely is semi chisel. The first pictures shows that clearly Mick. The grind on the face looks square as opposed to a nice crescent.
  14. Ok, you are bit of a drive away but could have been workable. Unfortunately I am away in Norway around that time. Hope you get sorted.
  15. When exactly are you looking to do the Job Ben?
  16. Dave I think it is a terminology thing... gullet to me is the bottom of the gap between the tooth and the depth gauge. If you look at the face of the cutter it has two planes to it whereas the other is a single plane in with a round grind.
  17. Torstein managed to delete Safari on my iPhone when he was similar age. I reinstalled the lot and it came back.
  18. Nice job. I had to laugh to myself though... a Landy doing that speed. There are landrover enthusiast all over the UK, pedal to the metal, foot to the floor and trying their hardest to be pulled over doing 45 + in a 50mph zone.
  19. I have a 4 season tent and the ground sheet is 10000 mm waterproof. 3000 is good but time will tell how long it stays that way. I ended up getting a small for my oldest son.
  20. Helmet cam sorry. Not to jerky though. Or
  21. Only got small and medium left online https://www.aldi.co.uk/fishing-softshell-jacket-green/p/072891099609300
  22. Why Joe? Just work out the fix lengths, use a tape measure and make a wire did out of a coat hanger. Tenex is really easy to splice.
  23. I got mine from treekit. I am sure they weren't 50 quid, maybe 40 odd but I did buy quite a few bits at the same time.
  24. Glad to hear they aren't twisted mate.
