  1. How do people feel about using contract workers who have a chipper and chip truck and are competing in the same area as you???? Personally I'm not a big fan of keeping the opposition going, so they can then drive down the prices on my bread and butter work. When I was a contract climber I was just that, I had no chipper or pickup.
  2. The VAT people do seem much more helpful these days, I would just give them a ring and see what they say. Few years back I had forgotten to do my return, they just ran me and asked if there was a problem, I apologised profusely, but they said no problem just get it in as soon as you can and were really nice.
  3. I love the way the spittle from his mouth hangs in the air in the slow motion shot. Lets hope his jaw was broken.
  4. No one was hurt, thats the main thing!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. I'm in the West!!!! The North West :001_smile:
  6. I would have called that a "white pop".
  7. If you trailer brakes are good, I find just dabbing the brakes works best, but the most important thing is to hold the steering straight, if you try to counter act the snake it just gets worse.
  8. Have you been watching too much Topgear??????????
  9. Utter rubbish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. The same or maybe less than 3 years ago.
  11. When I took my driving test I didn't go on the Mway, tow a trailer, drive a 7.5 tonner or ride a 125 motorcycle, but my license entitled me to do them all.
  12. And I've never been asked when I've claimed either.
  13. I find it strange that people are being labeled as "under cutters". Surely you submit the price you are happy with, if this happens to be lower than another price, does this make you an "under cutter"????????????????
  14. He will just put a rap of the rope round and when he pulls the tail tight it will winch. It will be OK for very light pulls, but if something went wrong it would be real easy to roll the mog:scared1:
  15. The solid back-end makes them less safe at higher speeds.
  16. Is your oil clean??? Apparently dirty oil with metal in it sets off the oil alert.
  17. You said "sprung rear axel", not cab.
  18. That doesn't sound too bad to me.
  19. Did you miss spell "rot"???????????
  20. So thats 22 man hours, which is about right, they did very well if they were new to mogs
  21. How did you fall then???????????
