  5. Your winning me over now mate!!!!!
  6. Better still, I will race the MEWP guy, first one to get their tree on the deck goes home, looser cleans up both trees!!!

  8. Almost all our woodland (over 99%) have been planted by man as a crop.
  9. That looks really good!!!!!!!!!!
  10. I don't think this is true If climbing is damaging your body, you are doing it wrong,IMO. Only by climbing most of the time do you maintain the fitness and skill required. I am 41, I've been climbing for 17 years and my body feels better today than when first started climbing, I am a little less energetic because I weigh 2 stone more than I did in my 20's, but I dread to think what I would weigh if I were not climbing most days. Your right about my experience with MEWP, I have only used them a hand full of times and was never impressed. I have never come across a tree where a MEWP was needed
  11. You will not be disappointed with the Geckos, they are ace!!!!!
  12. She is thanks and very well!! Her pension is poor because she took a break when me and my bother were born.
  13. My mother was a nurse for 50 years (in the NHS)
  14. Top man for taking the time to ask!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Come on their pension is still good (way better than anything I can get in the private sector) its just not "Gold plated" as it used to be. We have lived though a period of previously unknown wealth and prosperity, it was unsustainable and has ended, its time for us all to get back to reality and accept life is harder than we had hoped, but we still have things easier than most of the world.
  16. Thats shocking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Spot on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This needs sorting!!, Reg (who has do a lot for us) looked at this, but gave up because he was trying to make a retractable wire core. Personally a retractable rope lanyard is all I want
  18. If your battery is up to it, you don't need to loosen the injectors, just turn it over.
  19. Really????????? What do you do if you run out of fuel and need to bleed it???????
  20. Never had a transit, but with most diesels you fit the filter dry, open a union beyond the filter, pump the lift pump until fuel comes out of the union, then tighten the union, job done.
