  1. My pulling line is 28mm, you can't beat a bit of girth.
  2. I would second Stan (wood mad), he's a top bloke and I'm sure will do you a really good job If you want his number just let me know
  3. The tree was not TPO'd so they have deleted the "application" as its not needed, thats how it reads to me.
  4. But when they sell them they make good money.
  5. My advice would be, if you don't like landys don't buy one, if you do,do
  6. A very large percentage of all the landies ever built are still on the road.
  7. Mines done 52000, its needed some work, like a jar valve and a steering rack, but I've found a really good independent garage, they seem to really know their stuff and are very reasonably priced. If they are so rubbish why are they so popular??
  8. Why, because they don't rain in and drip oil?????
  9. We have 56 Disco 3, we love it, when it goes in for a service the wife hates driving the courtesy car. The Disco 3 is one of the more expensive 4x4's but is also one of the best selling, so they can't be all bad.
  10. I had a 1978 020AV, that had no chain brake, just a hand guard. I fitted on from a later model.
  11. Bored mate???????? Its a mini heat wave, I thought you'd be on your sun lounger tanning your behind!!!
  12. But do you make them give you piggy backs while they are wearing their boots???????????
  13. Its strange, I have had the exact opposite experience. All my old Hiax boots split in the right boot, the metal plate cut through the front. This would only happen after at least 9 month and I found I could glue it back with Aroldite. But my the last pair did not split, they lasted over 12 months, by which time the grip had worn off the sole. Can I ask how much you weigh?? could that play a part??

    Revenge?

They don't even know it was them. What if they had been burgled because someone strongly suspected they had done something??????????
  16. It will only be an offense to sell them, not use them.
  17. What like this, but for saws??? [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eCdIe0wdvU]YouTube - ‪Monty Python: Bicycle repairman!‬‏[/ame]
  18. If you hit one really hard or even pollard it, they will produce leaves that size in an effort to survive.
  19. I'm really thinking of buying a few, the reports so far on the 201 are not that great.
  20. I heard it different. Depth sounding was reasonably hard, dropping the lead, hauling it back up and repeat. Some would take a chance on the water being deep enough and instead of actually dropping the lead, they would just "swing the lead" so it looked like they were doing a prober job, but were really skiving.
